Washed my motorcycle textile trousers, turned out as good as tech wash has ever done.

This is absolutely fantastic for cleaning Gortex Jackets & Boots whilst keeping the external waterproof beading 100% effective 😀. I was amazed that what other people had said and the manufacturers about being suitable for Gortex. Washed, two rinses and hung to dry, then stood for 10 mins in cold shower in boots, trousers and jacket just been cleaned with this stuff and it was bomb proof; 100% waterproof. The best of the available simple soap products. It is a shame that it is not possible to buy a reasonable priced laundry bar product, having just returned from Central America where there are plenty of cheap laundry bars that work, it seems that have forgotten that soap is just soap and accept fancy plastic bottles and in the big boys case, millions spent on advertising that we pay for. They always tell you that the new product is better than the last version, when a grated bar of laundry soap will do the trick.

This is the best soap for woolens. It's very thick so I tend to dilute a capful with warm water and add to the detergent drawer of the washing machine on a wool wash. It is just soap so no harmful irritants or nasty perfumes.

I use this for my coats that have a water repellent finish, it does say on washing instructions on the garment to not use regular washing liquid for waterproofs. Also useful for anything with a delicate finish, if you're unsure just use this for peace of mind, just be careful on pricing it varies a lot do your research don't be ripped off!

This product is ideal for washing my technical hiking gear. Base layers, mid layers, tops and shorts can all be washed together without fear of affecting the performance of the fabrics. Works well in a thirty degree wash cycle too. It's also good for people with sensitive skin that could be upset by other, harsher laundry liquids.
