Ninjago - Thunder Raider - 70723

My son was 8 when he got this. Oh, did he love it. He's 9 now and still does. Because of all the items, it's got great playability. Lots of moving parts, lots of imagination play, and it was a particularly fun build (even though Mom here always has to put together the treads). It is slightly delicate once built, but once you've used it a few times and figured out how to manipulate it properly it stays together well. I always prefer the sets with a lot of moving parts and ways to vary them once built, and this one has that in a big way. (My son is starting to think like that too. He used to care only about the appearance.)

Kids have SO much fun with this!

This was my 6 year old grandson's pick for his Christmas present. He was able to put it together himself with a little advice from his father. He was very excited about the movement of some of the pieces on the Thunder Raider. He was happy to show me all that it could do. If you have a child that has a wonderful imagination and loves Lego this may be the perfect fit. I would recommend this to others. Barbara Canada

My son loves the ninjago series and this too proved a great buy! An 8 yr old can build it on his own without any help. The finished toy works like a real toy car too.
