Excellent product, easy to use and quick delivery

Novidion is a German based distributor for Contec Pulsoximeters, retailed under the brand name of Pulox. Contec Medical Systems is a major China manufacturer of medical systems. The product arrived as scheduled, well presented in a hard shell plastic case, with a lanyard, two batteries, a soft plastic cover and a nylon pouch that slips along a belt.Battery installation is self-evident, which is just as well as the enclosed instruction leaflet is in German. Usage is very obvious too, but anyone unsure will find a video on the Pulox.de website. Once fired up, the Pulsoximeter takes a moment to stabilise and then appears to be very consistent. Certainly mine matched the pulse rate simultaneously recorded by my Omron blood pressure monitor. As for oxygen saturation, I shall take it with me on my next visit to my GP and compare it with their equipment.The single on/off button also provides the means to select the way the data is presented and its brightness. Overall, it appears to be a sturdy and effective device at a very reasonable price. You can spend more, but I wasn't convinced there would be any real benefit.It lost a star only because the manual and initial communications from Novidion were in German. When I contacted Novidion they were quick to respond and provided a pdf file of the manual in English, albeit slightly ambiguous English in places!Interestingly, the manual does warn you that: "The device has normal useful life for three years since the first electrified use." Of course, this may also apply to all such equipment. We'll see.

I am able to keep a good check on my blood oxygen levels which helps me keep more control over my condition (C.O.P.D)

The media could not be loaded. Ich habe schon länger überlegt mir so ein Messgerät Pulsoximeter anzuschaffen um die Sauerstoffsättigung und Puls regelmäßig zu überprüfen. Der ausschlaggebende Punkt war dann die Corona Pandemie, da bei der Erkrankung eine Überwachung der Sauerstoffsättigung sehr wichtig ist. Auch wenn es einem gut geht, kann die Sauerstoffsättigung nicht ausreichend sein und da fand ich es sehr wichtig so ein kleines Gerät zu Hause zu haben um im Fall der Fälle meine Werte zu überwachen. Es ist ein kleines und handliches Gerät, sehr einfache Bedienung. Knopf drücken Finger rein und kurz still halten, dann kann man die Werte ablesen. Wie ich finde sehr genau. Tolles Gerät mit Hardcase, Tasche und im Lieferumfang sind auch Batterien enthalten. Den Pulsoximeter kann man überall mitnehmen auch auf Reisen, es passt in jede Tasche und ist für unterwegs geeignet um seine Werte im Blick zu haben. Einfache Steuerbarkeit. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis sind gut. Man bekommt ein vernünftiges Gerät mit einer guten Genauigkeit. Top!
