Good classic that addresses a hospital visit and gets my students talking about their own hospital experiences. Great conversation starter!

My 3 year old LOVES the curious george books. He is really able to follow the stories and loves playing pretend acting out the books after he reads them.We read this book when preparing my son to get his tonsils out. I really think that it helped prepare him and make him not so afraid for his surgery. I would recommend this for anybody whose child is having surgery. I had to miss almost 2weeks of school due to gall bladder surgery. I read this book to my kindergartners to explain what happened to me. I didn’t eat a puzzle piece like George but the things that happened in the hospital for him were similar to my experience.

My kids loved this book because they thought the fact that George ate a puzzle piece was absolutely hilarious. It also helped them get ready for their first hospital experience.

Great book for my 6-year-old son. God bless. The fantastic and marvelous read that will last because he can't read it thoroughly himself yet.

I saw some reviews that say it is too long for a young child but my 2 year old loves this book. He listens until the end and think George is so funny when he crashes the wheel chair. We got this to prepare for my sons tonsil and adenoid surgery and I felt like it helped him know what to expect. Some of it is outdated. But the concept is there.

I bought this to give to a physician finishing his residency....I will now get all of my residents this book, lol, they loved it!

My great nephew was going into the hospital for a tonsillectomy and a few other things… At the age of three. He loves curious George, so I got this for him before you went into the hospital. It was great for him to see an explanation of all the things George experienced before he went in himself. I would highly recommend it.

I’m not sure who loves Curious George more me, or my children. If you love Curious George then this is a nice addition to a collection and my son puts it on at night time to fall asleep to.

ジョージと黄色い帽子のおじさんは、ピクニックで海に行きます。海では、友達のベッツィー(「Curious George Goes to the Hospital」にも出ています)に会います。またも、彼女に笑顔はありません。おばあちゃんに連れてこられたようですが、どうやら、海が恐いようです。ジョージは、海辺で黄色い帽子のおじさんといろんな遊びをして楽しんでます。そのうち、高い所から監視しているライフガードに興味を持って・・・持ってきたバスケットいっぱいの食べ物を、海鳥に全部あげてしまったり、ジョージの行動は、飽きさせません(^^)そうそう、ベッツィーにも笑顔が戻ってます。語数は、少ないものの、絵が多く楽しい作品です。
