Thai curries never been better
Great for Thai grew curries etc. Only downside is they take ages (15-30 mins) to dissolve so take that into account when you’re cooking. That’s not a fault, just the nature of the sugar. Tastes great.

Not an Essential for Thai Curries, but good to have around. Needs airtight storage after opening.
Pack contains ten 50g biscuit sized circular blocks of palm sugar. The palm sugar content is 95% which is better than many, which have 85% palm sugar, the balance made with refined sugar. The blocks are hard, but can be grated, or pieces broken off with a knife. The packs contain a dessicant sachet, so will help prevent the blocks from liquefying once the pack is opened - but they do need to be stored somewhere fairly airtight as well. I usually use these in Thai curries to counteract the saltiness of shrimp paste and balance flavours, but they're nice as an additive to puds, substituting half palm sugar for half plain sugar. To be honest though, palm sugar isn't an essential in Thai curries. Light muscovado or demerara is just as good, as is a slug of date syrup.

Easy to use palm sugar
Good quality, great price, delivered on time and much easier to use because the product is supplied in separate blocks which are easier to dispense unlike palm sugar supplied in cartons

Expensive
Quite expensive way to buy palm sugar and a hard block which is difficult to work with but it does the job. The flavour is authentic

Lovely.
Heavenly. Pretty difficult to cut but in Thai salads simply sensational.
