Works well and a quality product for the price point. It’s not a leica ……however it’s also fraction of price and will do the job for 99% of good quality work

Been a metalsmith and jeweler for over 50 years and my degrading eyesight finally compelled me to buy better magnifiers, looked at many options, some were wearable, some were static, some were even digital and gave much more magnification then what I needed. This one checked all the boxes, mechanically rugged, simple to erect, and easy to use. It took me a while to get used to using it, 50 years fo using headsets required some adjustment, but my posture is better, more erect, better view of the details; the ring lamp is the bomb. I can set stones or engrave all day now with little to no fatigue, in hands, neck, posture, or eyes. Absolutely Love it!!!

I had originally been looking at the Leica A60 with the Acrobat stand on Rio Grande for $2950. I figured I would check Amazon just to see what they had. I'm so glad I did. At $400 for this one it's a no-brainer. I was skeptical that something would be off for such a low price but there isn't. It zooms amazingly, is super sturdy and saved me $2550 plus tax. I dont know what anyone would need it to do more that would make it worth buying a Leica. 2 important things to know: The instructions are non-existent. With a little effort you can figure it out. You may need to add a shelf to your workbench. The stand is very heavy-duty but just like the Acrobat, they need a little space. I didn't want to lose any of my workspace so i added a shelf onto the back, as you can see in the pictures. I made mine out of mahogany because of the heavy weight. Overall, two minor inconveniences to save $2500!

Good magnifying power but the light wasn’t in the box so I can’t tell yet.. I guess I’ll have to buy a light for it unless I return it…
