Woodstream 2pk Victor Mouse Trap [Garden & Outdoors]

I've been using these for decades. I bait them with a small piece of marshmallow; mice always go for sugar over protein ( so don't use peanut butter nor cheese) and the sticky marshmallow guarantees that the trap will be set off.The small size of this trap makes it easy to place into the small spaces where mice are found.It is reusable for many mice, although it will become gross if you catch a mouse and don't remove it within 2 days, because the mouse will harden/petrify itself onto the trap.You have to learn the technique of holding the bottom to keep your fingers out of the way while setting this trap to avoid catching your own fingers.

If you fail to catch a mouse with these it's a tactical error on your part, not a defective trap. Buy 4 of them, put them around in a circle (or 3 against a wall) with all four baits (peanut butter) facing the inside of this circle (like a T shape). The mouse will probably get one but will likely stumble across the others while doing it. That's the way to kill them. Repeat as necessary.

This is not 2 packs of 2 traps, for a total of 4 traps. This is just 1 pack of 2 traps. This is very expensive. They are cheaper everywhere else I looked. Home depot, Canadian tire, walmart, are all about half this cost.

No complaints, exactly what I expected. I am a bit shocked at the other reviews. If you wanted easy to clean plastic, get a plastic trap. I recommend a newer design though as sometimes they can get the food from these without getting caught. A tip is to put it deep inside the lip of the metal "trap" piece and not just on top. peanut butter works great.

There is not 32 packages of 2, there is only 1 package. When I bought this product it said the regular price was over $60, making me think that it was a great deal. You can buy these same traps for way less at your local hardware store. False advertising.

I have a TREX rat trap that wouldn't go off even when the mouse was standing on the trigger. I bought this little trap, and placed some peanut butter on top of the trigger. This mouse was smart to just lick off the peanut butter. So I put some under the trigger and SNAP!, the mouse is no more.

It’s pricey. It’s a lot cheaper at Canadian Tire and dollar stores that carry it. There’s only 2 traps so don’t get fooled like me thinking you’ll be receiving 4 traps. The traps don’t snap easily so I had to modify them to spring better.

Not sure if it's because it's not well made or something but it didn't work for us.. The mouse was able to get the food without even trapping it. Had to buy another type of trap so this one is not useful for us. Very disappointed

Best mouse traps I’ve used. They’re tricky to set because they’re so sensitive .. but that’s what makes them so effective. They’re always out of stock though.. wish I could get my hands on some more !!!

love these mouse traps! hot glued a piece of dog food to them because the mice kept licking the peanut butter free without setting the traps off. works like a charm now!

Initially I felt like I was just laying out a smorgasbord for the mice as they kept eating the peanut butter without getting caught, but after 5 nights I finally caught the critter. All good.

Price was competitive (if not cheaper) when compared to local box stores (i.e. Home Depot). They are not the most intuitive thing to use but they did the trick!

Its an old style mouse trap that works well but keep in mind some mice are smart and will steal the bait.

Really like these version of traps. Quick, easy and effective.

This is a mouse trap. They've been making them for decades. It will kill mice. If you want your mice dead, this will work.
