Perfect Starter Set for Any Kitchen
This is a great starter pack of high-quality kitchen tools. Everything feels sturdy and well made, and it covers many of the basics you’d need whether you're cooking or baking. A solid choice if you're just setting up your kitchen or want to upgrade your everyday essentials. Easy to clean in the washing machine or by hand.

Nice Tool and Gadget Set
I'm certainly not an expert on kitchen items but these Kitchen Aid items seem to be well made to me. They feel sturdy when I pick them up. They are easy to hold and easy to use. The slotted turner, short turner and basting spoon do not bend when pressing them down in a pan (like when you are using the slotted turner or the short turner to break up hamburger. or the basting spoon to separate carrots in your broth). The utility whisk works well and cleans up nicely. The can opener grips the cans and I'm able to turn the opener easily to open the cans. The euro peeler is a bit of a challenge to use (I find the peel blade to be to small) but it is certainly sharp enough to peel the potatoes I used it on. All the items (except the can opener *hand wash only*), handle the dishwasher well and come out clean. As far as I'm concerned, not a bad set for the price.

This is a very high-quality kitchen set for someone setting up their new home
My old can opener was dying from age and its blade was no longer sharp enough to cut through the lids of cans. I was finally frustrated enough to start looking for another can opener to order when I saw this KitchenAid tool set that I could order that came with the can opener. These tools seem to be well made and heavier in weight compared to my other nylon type kitchen tools that I already possessed. The handles of these tools are thick to grab hold of and the tools themselves were not thin or flimsy so that they would bend during use. When I compared the "Slotted Turner" and "Basting Spoon" I had with the ones that came with this set, the old ones I had been using are at least 2 inches shorter. I am looking forward to donating my old ones and using this nice new set from KitchenAid.

Beware that the top of utensils are plastic and WILL melt
Many of my non-scratch utensils were plastic which melt if left in the pan at all, so I was looking to upgrade to something more heat resistant and durable. This 14 piece gadget set was a good chance to replace a lot of my kitchen utensils all in one go. This sitcom with a 4-piece dry measuring cup set, a 5-piece measuring spoons set, a can opener, a peeler, a spuatula a non-slotted spoon and a slotted turner. These are all non-scratch which is great. I quickly discovered something that wasn’t apparent from the listing: the top of the utensils are black plastic with the KitchenAid logo etched into it, while the bottom are silicone. So…. the whole thing isn’t heat resistant. If you have a big pot and leave the spoon (or any of the other utensils inside), the top will Mel when it touches the side of the pan. Ugh. I was very disappointed to see that. The other thing that I was a little disappointed about is that the measuring cups are kind of squat: not that wide but deeper. It makes it touch to store the largest cup sized one in my drawer - it’s just too tall, so I have to leave 1-cup measuring cup in my sugar canister all the time. That also was disappointing. I like that all of the utensils except the can opener can be placed in the dishwasher. Other than the problem with the measuring cup and the top of these being plastic, this is would be a great starter set for a bridal or house warming gift or a good sturdy replacement set if yours are getting worn out. This is a great value - just watch out for the melt factor.

Solid built and hefty
These are nice and sturdy tools, they feel heavy duty and well built and work really well. The spatulas are solid and weighted, so they have a great feel in your hands. The peeler works well and is sharp to slice through fruits and veggies, it also has a nice ripple pattern on it. I have not used the can opener, but it looks solidly built. The whisk is what I was most interested in, it is sturdy, and most of all, the lid will not collect water from the dishwasher, which is what my old whisk did and caused me to rage when it poured dish washer water on my batter. Overall, this is a great set, so much so that even my wife kept mentioning how much she liked it.

Great quality; durable
I couldn't be happier with this KitchenAid set. All of the pieces are durable, and they can be put in the dishwasher (excepting the can opener), which is a great time-saver. I especially like the peeler, which is comfortable to hold and doesn't slip out of my hand as I'm using it. While this set seems pricey, it is worth the ~$55 cost, since each accessory included is something I actually use a lot, and I have easily spent more replacing cheaply made spatulas and spoons that melt as I'm cooking with them. My husband and I are both pleased with the quality and convenience of these kitchen accessories, and I would not hesitate to order them again.

The Brand that Knows Kitchens
You're not buying the name, you're buying the quality behind the name. KitchenAid just makes great kitchen products; I've honestly never been disappointed and it has not changed at all with this set. It feels built to last. As soon as you pull the tools out of this set, you can feel the quality. They have a durable, weighty design and come with the basics needed for an excellent starter set or even just upgrading your main set. It makes a great gift, but it ships in its own box, so presentation will be less than desirable. Overall, this is a fantastic premium set.
