Arrived well packed and in good time. Early days but both charge up well
Arrived well packed and in good time. Early days but both charge up well, and seem to hold their charge well under normal use in a Canon EOS300 digital. If they last for a few years they'll be worth a 5 star given that the price is very reasonable.

So far so good and decent product
Good batteries so far. My wife is a photographer and these appear to be working well. Much better than a couple of Duracell of the same type which do not hold their charge and are less than a year old..

Good Value and Available
The Canon BP-511 battery dates back to 2000 and was a very good rechargeable design. Although I had a number of these original batteries for a couple of "vintage" digital cameras the batteries needed replacing because they were old and no longer holding a charge for too long. These substitute batteries seem to be excellent, charge in the original Canon charger and work as well, as to durability well time will tell but so far so good plus, it's good to be able to get them and at a good price.

For now everything seems ok, and you can't really argue about the price but I can't say if they will still be good in a year and so I can't give it five stars.

Good product.
Both batteries took their first charge in 30 minutes and lasted an hour in the camera. Good product.

A solid, inexpensive alternative to the own-brand batteries
So far so good! I needed replacement batteries for the old Canon batteries I own that are no-longer holding their charge. These were inexpensive, but feel very solidly made and so far are delivering a comparable number of shots to the original Canon batteries. I have bought generic makes in the past, and they haven't lasted; unlike those, the Top-Max batteries feel much more substantial, so I am cautiously optimistic!

A poor substitute
These batteries do work, however they don't last as long as my quite old OEM ones, they have thrown battery errors as well. The errors and odd charge states settled after a second charge where they will briefly appear as fully charged before dropping to part charge and lasting about half as long as an OEM one.So they do work however they're not something I can rely on.
