We have a LO in Memory care with mixed dementias. He leans heavily to one side in his wheelchair and was not comfortable. Honestly, I am sure he is still not really comfortable hunched over, but they are not ready to move him to a partial recline because he still has some mobility by scooting himself and he really wants to do this himself as much as he can. I decided to research, and this seemed like it might be helpful. Guess what? He loves it and even side for one for the side he doesn't lean to and we figured what the heck you never know if it wears out and maybe they won't have them anymore, so we got another one for the non-leaning side. It only helps prop him a little bit, but he is not resting on the medal anymore so it's a win for us.

This seems to be helping our family member be more comfortable in his wheelchair. He has very little control of his arms, so the concave shape and straps help hold his arm in place. It's also more comfortable than the thin hard wheelchair arms. It's not perfect, it does slip a little. Maybe we can figure out how to make it more secure. But pretty happy with it so far.

My MIL is now in a skilled nursing facility and was slumping in her wheelchair which caused her arm pain The facility and I tried several options but this was the only one that worked. The armrest is soft yet supportive and covered in a comfortable fabric unless the vinyl armrest the facility had provided. It does not interfere with her wheelchair’s function

Fits around the arm of the wheelchair and has straps to hold the arm. The only issue we have with it is that it extends out, which make it a little difficult to push the chair close to a table for eating.

Nice looking pad for folks with no mobility of arms. However the pad is too big for the wheelchair armrests. I would have thought the design should fit a wheelchair.
