Sadly, this item did not help quiet vocal sounds. Waste of money. I think it actually made things louder.

I have a loud voice, and I tested this on my car. It dropped by a good 30 decibels when I used it!Other than the fact that it kinda looks like I'm screaming into a men's athletic cup, I dig it! My band - and the citizens of whatever city we are in on any given night - hate me like 20% less!

It works

It does muffle your voice a bit, but it certainly is not sound proof. Still, it's better than nothing.If you have a small face, it will not fit your face. This may contribute to my experience that it is not sound proof, since it can't form a seal on my face.There are nose holes for breathing so that you can keep the mask on your face, but it's kinda hard to breathe through them.

Hard to breath with it on. The straps are extremely uncomfortable and it is too expensive for what it is, also you can still hear very clearly when you yell with it on.

Package was torn and the product was outside the package. Product does not work at all, it muffles your voice but at the same noise level.

I'm an opera singer, and I've legitimately had neighbors move away because I like singing at all hours. After learning of that, I decided I needed something. The belt box works really well. Like, surprisingly well. I've had it for about a year now, and it's great!

I’m a musical theatre major and I got this because I saw it all over TikTok. It’s hard to go on vacation or be in a space where you have an audition or performance coming up but you don’t have the space to sing. I thought this would be like the videos I saw on TikTok, but it was not sound muffling at all. It was a complete scam.
