These are great water bottles! They are well-made and sturdy, and don't leak. They hold a good amount of water. The wide mouth makes them easy to clean. The color selection is another great feature.

You know it and love it. It’s THE classic water bottle. It holds plenty of water to last my work shift, which is really what I care about. There aren’t any weird seals or crevices for mold to grow on, and cleaning is easy enough - use a bottle brush or throw it in the dishwasher. It can trap smells if you’re not careful. I had a bottle previously that I’d use water enhancers / flavors with, and it started to smell like them after awhile. My new bottle is strictly pure water and has no smell at all, thank goodness.As for durability, I believe you could throw it off a cliff and it’d be fine. I don’t hike or know any local cliffs, so can’t test that one out I’m afraid. You don’t have to be gentle with it. Very durable.The only downside is that it does not fit traditional cup holders. It will fit in your backpack, but not your car cup holder. It’s not a deal breaker and I knew that about the bottle going in.All in all, a water bottle with the easiest upkeep, holds a very good bit of water, and you can knock it around without worrying about breaking it.

Just received, was covered with plastic wrap so nicel and flawless for a few brief shining moments until we use it. :) Seems fine, will have to see after a few cliff falls haha. The simplicity, the secure lid with loop, and the gorgeous color make for a fine and dandy container. 32 ounces, so glad the backpack pockets take these larger bottles so well. Light weight, great size, easy to hold and seems pretty durable. Functionality? Seems great. This should be non-reactive Tritan which is completely Bha, bhp, bhs and whatever else there is, free. Another thing about Tritan - just a personal preference, feels great! Hope this lasts as long as the older Nalgenes, and also hope the recycled plastics are the same high quality as new plastic would be.

I have owned several Nalgene water bottles over the years. I keep going back to them because they are pretty much bullet proof. No matter what I throw at them on the hiking trail, they shrug it off and never leak. The container itself is pretty thick plastic and does not flex. It holds 32 ounces yet is not too big. I love the fact the lid does not use a gasket to seal the cap. Instead, there is a rim molded into the cap which forms a perfect seal. I have never had one leak. Also, they are BPA free and do not change the taste of the water inside. These are THE STANDARD.

I find that the more basic water bottles, like this one, are my favorite. I like the size, fits fine in my hand, and the lid closes tightly. Nice, sturdy plastic material that won't cave in. I don't like having a straw or other components to try to keep clean. Some hot, soapy water and a bottle brush keeps this bottle clean.I can fill it up and consume a good bit of water before having to fill it up again, which is what I really needed. I am on a quest to drink more water, and this helps.Also, I don't like ice cold water. So the fact that this doesn't keep water cold is a plus for me. Room temp is perfect for me. The wide mouth allows for chugging just as easily as sipping.I bought the purple color and it's lovely. I can clearly see the water inside and I like the markings so I know how much I've had (or how much I have to go). The lid fits securely and so far no leaking when I've had it full in my bag. I also like that the lid stays attached, and I don't find that bothersome at all.If you're like me and want a water bottle that is a basic design, sturdy, and holds a lot of water, this is it.

THE best water bottle. Got the light blue color so it makes the water appear even more refreshing. Love the wide mouth, how easy it is to fill and drink out of and just handle in general. Also it's very sturdy and very secure when closed.

Holds up great. Ridiculously easy to clean. It never leaks. Rarely gets a smell, but that’s easily avoided if you know how to prevent mildew/bacteria growth - whenever it happens, I just apply some vinegar underneath the ring seal, lip, and lid before giving it a normal wash.Fantastic value.
