I'm a mixed media artist and I love to use these in my artwork. I have every colour and when I saw this set of pastels, I knew they would be perfect to add to my collection. They are so easy to use, chunky so they are easy to grab with wet hands. Vibrant colour. But beware, if you have never used these before, they are waxy, so you will ruin expensive pens trying to write over them. Best left as a final layer. They are very long lasting and hard-wearing.

We bought these for a 4 year old who loves art and getting messy. She has just spent the afternoon using them with her arty aunty, and both of them love these pencils. Perfect for small hands to hold, and lots of fun for them in figuring out different ways to use them (our little one drew with them then used a wet paint brush on top, used the wet paint brush to get paint direct from the pencil, dipped the pencil in water and wrote with it, etc, etc).She loves getting messy, but these were much more controlled than using paints so it means she can have messy fun without actually making much mess. When she fell over and got paint on the floor and leather chair (from her hands) this wiped off easily with a damp cloth. The pencils are top quality and well worth the money as they will last for a very long time. We haven't yet tested them on glass, but we expect them to clean off that easily too.Our little niece absolutely adores these pencils, had an awesome afternoon using them, and is going to be having plenty more wonderful days using them. We're looking at getting the larger range of colours to add to this set. And Aunty is also tempted to get some for herself!These pencils are also great in a travel activity pack for holidays because they're less messy than paints but still give the child plenty of fun.

Amazing quality wooden colour pencils. I first got some crayons for my toddler's first drawing attempts, but they need so much pressure before you see any colour on the paper. Then I discovered these Stabilo pencils in a playgroup and had to get some for home immediately. They are so soft and draw without effort. Also draw over other colours, even black! And easy to wash off when the little one decides to draw on the table, his clothes or the window (ah, yes, they draw on glass too).

I love the quality of these pencils, and because I am confident that they are long lasting, and clean and don't have the problems or danger of lids...I consider them to be the best in terms of gifting. I bought some of the two colour ones first, then the dry wipe ones by stabilo.... Very similar, but slightly better for use in wipe and re use books and then these. I have since bought a pack of 18, not off this page though.....there's an alternative more adult packaging, which is currently £5 less.I also like that my recipients, will probably not have these, and will no doubt love them. The only negative is, of course their price....I would have never believed that I would spend so much on crayons....but they are worth it.

Lovely to write with, very soft and pigmented, abit like lipstick... Which leads me to the negative. My dear toddler who will eat anything and everything in his path... I let him in the garden with these to draw on the fence, popped in to get a drink for him, came back out and almost fainted. He'd shoved both the brown and red in his mouth and chewed the points off. He was now spitting out and drooling what I thought was either blood or some sort of animal poop...I've had to remove these from him for the time being due to the fact he will not stop eating them and my ongoing postnatal anxiety can do without this.On the plus side I can conform the manufacturers claims of them being safe and non toxic. Also very easy to chew and digest apparently, though personalky I wouldn't recommend this, sure my son would beg to differ... 👍

Perfect for kids. Like a crayon but covered in wood. Means they can’t eat the crayon or break it easily. Paired makes sure that the top is kept flat and not pointed so very safe. Worth the price

Large chunky crayons which are easy to hold and the colours are good without having to apply to much pressure.
