Coffee Roasters of Jamaica - 100% Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee (2 - 454g bags)

I am writing this review quite upset. This coffee was roasted at least a year before I bought it. Some fraudulent coffee makers will tell you that coffee will last for years after roasting, but they are all liars. Coffee goes stale very fast after roasting, even in whole-bean form. To sell years-old stale coffee at this price is, in my opinion, criminal. My AG office disagrees with me, so these people will continue ripping people off as long as Amazon will let them.All I can do is post this and hope people will heed my warning.So why did I give it two stars? Because I drank about half of it, and I could tell what it once was - good coffee roasted well. It must have been an incredible brew back in 2016. Too bad this company ruined a good thing.

I have had 9-10 different brands of Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee during my life. Each had a familiar, underlying flavor that I have come to associate with Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee.While this coffee is very good, it does not have the familiar Jamaican Blue Mountain taste that I have come to expect. In my opinion, this is not a good example of Jamaican Blue Mountain. The underlying smooth flavor is just not there.The beans smell great but do not appear oily.I give 3 stars because it is very tasty, but entirely not worth the price. I will be seeking Jamaican Blue Mountain elsewhere.

I am a coffee afficionado, love Jamaican, Hawaiian, Boquette. I've enjoyed a dozen pounds or more of Jamaican Blue. This one was the absolute worst of the bunch. I wasn't even sure it was authentic Jamaican beans, based on the taste. Way too acidic. Maybe they over-roasted it, or left it on the dock too long. Didn't even finish grinding the $70 pound of beans, it just went to waste. I don't recommend it. Not worth that kind of investment, for something that tastes worse than a blend, which is preferred to this.

I was very impressed. When I decided to order some Jamaica Blue coffee, I read all the reviews and product information. I had fallen in love with the stuff on a trip to Jamaica 43 years ago. Well, I decided on The Coffee Roasters of Jamaica because of the product info. It’s not a blend, that might throw some people but it made sense to me. Love it!! I will be ordering more !!

This stuff is nasty. I've been buying Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee for a long time...this tastes like cheap hotel coffee.
