Senior dachshund loves them
My 13 year old dachshund is missing quite a few teeth and is on a low fat diet due to pancreatitis, but still expects a treat to chew after his walk. These are soft enough for him to get through, but hard enough to satisfy his urge to chew, and they’re low fat. He loves all of the flavors, and the larger size means we can get away with breaking them in half, making them pretty cost effective. Peanut butter is his favorite flavor, naturally. They wouldn’t keep a younger / bigger dog busy for very long and I haven’t noticed any improvements in his breath (we brush daily, so it’s not too bad), but they’re perfect for a senior dog to enjoy for a few minutes.

Smell great
I have a staffy+ , wanted something that she could chew for more than a minute without it being consumed to help clean her teeth a little. They smell incredible of peanut butter she came running sniffing the air when I opened them & their a decent size however they were not firm enough to help clean her teeth she ate it within 2 minutes. I'm sure for a smaller dog they would be great and my dog loved them just didn't do what I had hoped.

Good for your Good Boy/Girl
Finally a dental chew that works for our boy! Our dog is a Whippet, so is already prone to dental issues so we put a lot of effort into keeping his teeth as healthy as possible, but he also has allergies on top of his allergies, so most other dental chews we have tried have set off his allergies. It's great that the ingredients are clear on the Pooch & Mutt chews as this really helped us to feel that these would probably be safe for him, and now we're 2 packs in we can confirm these do not have any itchy or squirty results for our lad. He loves them, and I think he gets a lot of enrichment from having something tasty to chew on as well as it being good for his teeth as he is visibly satisfied and relaxed when he's done chewing. Obviously dogs with allergies can have a range of different allergens that set them off, but for our boy who is allergic to certain meats and grains, these are working nicely and I can recommend them. The size is perfect for our Whippy boy, who takes about 5-10 minutes to get through one stick, and they'd probably be fine for breeds up to about Labrador size, a larger breed will still enjoy them but probably finish them off before they've had chance to benefit from the dental benefits.

Pooch loves them!
They smell insane! If I was a dog, I'd eat them.My dog loves them, they really do smell like peanut butter. Really good quality and value for money buying the larger box.On the basis he loves them, I can only assume they taste amazing too. They are triangular in shape and about a cm in size.

Dogs love 'em!
I swithered about buying these as my dogs are all pretty picky, but they had enjoyed a well known brand's peanut butter treats so I decided to give these dental sticks a try.The most important factor, of course, is that the dogs ALL love them.Other factors are: they smell quite strongly, though not unpleasant just musky. They feel a little bit odd to handle when first out of the packet - sort of oily, but without being at all greasy is the best I can come up with. They certainly don't mark furnishings at all, and if one gets "lost" - i.e., someone buried theirs then forgot where they put it! - they become very dry and hard, but this doesn't appear to affect their palatability. The only thing I'd warn other potential purchasers about is that you should be careful how much you give. A whole stick is fine with my Chinese Crested, but more than a half a stick gives my teeny-tiny Chi x Jack Russell the trots. So start with a half, maybe. Each stick has many ridges, so they really will be good at loosening plaque, and they can be either bent or cut with really solid scissors to make them smaller. However either way, you do require to have strength in your hands; if you're very elderly or unwell or for any other reason are like me with weak grip, you'll find it a frustratingly long process and I strongly recommend shanghaiing a relative or friendly neighbour into service to get the job done without the air turning blue!

Better suited for bigger dogs
These are actually really quite large, so suited to bigger dogs, our tiny dog is struggling to chew them

Worth buying.
Our older Staffy loves these. As she has gotten older some dental sticks have become too hard. These are just right for her and taste of peanut butter.
