Started gilding a nd this seems fine decided I needed a bigger size as this is ok for smaller items.

This was perfect for my gold leaf. I would recommend a very thin layer and wait 15 minutes for it to dry so the glue becomes sticky/tacky enough.

Stays sticks for days. I gold leafed my walls and tried at first with pva glue (seriously don't do it to yourself, it's not worth it!)And then found this miracle.I've seen some YouTubers use modge podge for gold leaf but nothing beats Polyvine. It's the best. And gives you the longest work time and smoothest result.Never used it to paint on top of gold leaf though and don't think it's intended for shiny finishing purposes like some modge podge...but as the base glue it's the best

I purchased this to use when I create pieces of artwork where I use gold or silver leaf on artists canvases.This is a 'must buy' for sticking the gold/silver/bronze leaf on your piece of artwork or even if you paint furniture and you want to place the gold/silver leaf, which is also another idea of where to use the leaf.

I had never metal leafed anything, so this was the first time I'd used size. This was excellent, way better than trying to use PVA or any other gloop to fix the leaf. A little goes quite a long way, so to copper leaf a coffee table and four pictures we have used less than half of a 100ml pot. The instructions allow you to water it down a bit, which we did, and that worked well. Recommended.
