I am new to drone flying so I wanted a drone that would be as easy to fly as possible. My search brought me to the Potensic and its amazing versality and power, at an affordable price. The customer write-ups were very positive and, of course, it was sold through Amazon with the quality control and price guarantees they offer. So, I bought it. Delivery was swift - it arrived the following day. Manual and video instructions are on line, and they were a little difficult to access at first, but Potensic Customer Support was great and sorted this out very quickly - a special 'shout out' to Ruby. It did not take me long to "get airborne" and discover how surprisingly easy it is to fly - even indoors. The aircraft is very stable and does not drift, so steering it through doorways was a simple process, although I do confess to getting confused over the in-flight steering, which caused the drone to collide with the wall and damage a couple of the propellers. That was clearly due to my inexperience and over-confidence (it is that good) and not due to problems with the drone itself. So my advice is, reign in your enthusiasm and make sure you read the manual and operating instructions thoroughly. As a first test flight just get used to the control sticks and remember that, depending on the aspect and position of the drone (ie if it is facing you), turning the stick left may actually be wrong, as I found out! I have flown it outside and am hugely impressed by the quality of the real time images displayed and the straightforward process to record and view the flight subsequently. Even though weighing under 250 gms, as a drone with a camera it is necessary to register with the CAA as a drone operator, which I did as soon as I received my aircraft. It is inexpensive. As each day passes, I am becoming more adept at flying my Potensic ATOM SE drone and I am hoping to take it with me to fly when I go abroad on holiday. If you plan to do the same, check the regulations applicable in your destination. Within Europe, they are EASA Regs (also available on the internet). In summary, this is a super little drone, flies incredibly well, is easy to manoeuvre, has 31 minutes flight time per battery, has a very good onboard gimble mounted camera with high resolution recordable images (still and video), a return home feature and is sold at an affordable price. Last, but not least, it comes with a first rate customer support service. So, if you are looking for a compact and reliable drone, this could be the one for you. It was for me.

Honestly, this drone is amazing! Incredible value for money, and certainly a serious rival for DJI. If you feel a bit ambivalent about committing to the purchase then I suggest watching a number of YouTube reviews, etc. as I did. I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I haven't taken photos yet, but the video is so incredibly sharp!!! Even at 200 feet up I could still see the dandelions in the field below. Spotting people on a golf course which I reckon must have been about 200~300 metres away (when viewed on a PC screen). It's actually a good idea, I found, to take a laptop with you to review the footage as soon as you can. It's brilliant! The drone is easy and fun to fly. The app is perfect (suggest a larger size phone though as there is a lot of info on the screen when flying). Very stable hover. Even with the control stick held down (for descend), the drone comes down and lands incredibly gently. Usually lands with a last second sideways shimmy - maybe ground effect? Battery life is excellent. In video mode (flight speed setting), I got 29 minutes of flight time on one battery (and it comes with two). - and that was after a couple of updates. Very very pleased ;-)

Have used drones for over a year (not my own). decided to buy my own. This unit had a good price, kit contents and good feedback. I was impressed with the drone and remote and app. The app carried out a firmware update on first boot up. it was tested in the garden to get used to the controls (which were smooth and responsive). the unit was used for 15 mins, and seemed impressive for a small unit, noted the battery was dropping quiet quickly. due to the weather it was not taken out for a few days, but good footage from the memory card, I decided this time to test the follow me mode, again, as soon as the unit was turned on, the app carried out another firmware update, unit was then tested in a field, noted that firstly it did not sound right, the unit was pulsing, and not hovering, but doing a small circle about 9 foot in the air. this stopped after 2 minutes, so a calibration was carried out (as a precaution). a quick test was carried out, and seemed ok, with a bit of motor pulsing. Follow me mode was activated. for the first 4 minutes it seemed ok, no issues showing on the app, but I could hear that the drone was pulsing. at this point the drone just went out of control, and did not respond to the controls. the drone increased in tone, automatically went higher, then veered left and crashed. the unit was disconnected and taken home to check the damage. No footage was recored to the memory card when checked, and damage to the drone was evident, and the app wanted to carry out another firmware update (within 8 hours). so I can only conclude there was a firmware issue? going by no fault and working ok, to update and erratic, then another f/ware update. I will wait for a response from either party, but the unit has been returned for a full refund. hopefully the outcome will be positive, as this initially turned out to be one of the best units and kits out there.... will update if any is needed.

Dit is mijn eerste drone. Na wat filmpjes op Youtube gezien te hebben, de Potensic Atom SE gekocht. Een fantastische aanschaf, deze drone is enorm makkelijk te vliegen. Een degelijke drone met veel mogelijkheden. De camera heeft ook goede beelden zowel foto als video.

Ich habe die Drohne seit knapp einer Woche und habe seit der Zeit ca 3h an Flüge absolviert und bin dabei auch noch blutiger Anfänger. Wichtig für mich war, nicht zu viel Geld auszugeben. Falls das Hobby nichts für mich wäre muss man das sowieso wieder mit großem Verlust verkaufen. Also habe ich mich erstmal bei der SE, viele scheinen ja wegen dem Gimbal die normale Atom zu haben, für das Standartkit entschieden. Das beinhaltet eine Tragetasche die wirklich super ist, zwei Akkus, zig Kabel für verschiedenen Anschlüsse (USB-C, Lightning, micro USB), die Drohne selbst und die Fernbedienung. Zum fehlenden Gimbal komme ich später. DIe Einrichtung ist kinderleicht und hab ich nebenher zum fernsehen gemacht. Ich erklär jetzt nicht wie genau das funktioniert denn die EInrichtung ist bei den meisten Drohnen immer identisch. Einschalten,vorher Akkus laden,Updates laden, Kompass kalibrieren, fertig. Dann stand am nächsten Tag der Erste Flug an. Und nachdem ich andere Tests und Videos von anderen, vermeintlichen ''billigen'', Drohnen gesehen habe, war ich gespannt was passiert. Funktioniert sie auf anhieb? Startet sie und haut direkt ab? Hält sie sich gut? Kann man sie als Anfänger fliegen? Und in allen Punkten kann ich nur ein eindeutiges JA! geben. Ich war in kürzester Zeit super vertraut mit der Drohne. Wenn man sich nicht sicher istkann man sie per Wischgeste automatisch starten. Aber bereits beim dritten mal habe ich mir das über die Sticks manuell zugetraut. Die Fernbedienung liegt super in der Hand und die Steuerknüppel lassen sich sehr genau bedienen. Lediglich der Videoaufnahme und der Auslöserbutton als Schultertasten, empfinde ich als etwas, nicht ultra billig aber nicht so hochwertig wie den rest dern Fernbedienung. DIe App ist super verständlich und hatte zu keinem Zeitpunkt, wie gesagt ich bin Anfänger nur für etlichen Jahren mal kurz eine Phantom 3 geflogen und kurz davor eine Dji Mavic mini 1, das Gefühl das ich keine AHnung hätte was dies oder jenes zu bedeuten hätte. Man kann Höhe und Reichweite einstellen, die Return to Home Höhe und Reichweite,Auslösung für FIlm und Foto usw. Die Flugeigenschaften und die Signalstärke ist, im Vergleich zur Mini 1 von DJI hier, einfach wesentlich besser. Die Drohen fliegt sich wirklich klasse und ist im Sportmodus super schnell und wendig. Einfahc ein Traum und ich habe jedesmal wieder Spaß beim Fliegen. Die Bilder und Videos können in 4k aufgenommen werden. Videos in 4k mit 30FPS. Ich habe einige Videos schon gemacht und auf meinem 4K Fernseher angesehen und für mich ist das super ausreichend. Die Videos sind klar und flüssig. Es ist tatsächlich 4K und nicht das was so manch Temu Hersteller verspricht. Was sie jedoch von einer normalen Atom unterscheidet ist ein fehlender, mechanischer 3 Achsen Gimbal, schlechtere Follow me und Kreisflugmodi. Was möchte ich damit sagen? Zu den Modi. Ja, der Hersteller wirbt mit Follow me und Kreisflug Modi. Allerdings kann man beid er normalen Atom wenigstens in der Kamera das Ziel markieren was er verfolgen soll. Die SE folgt nur der Fernbedienung. Den Kreisflug habe ich leider noch nicht begriffen. Wie auch beim Follow Modi kann ich in der Kamera nicht auswählen was er umkreisen soll. Ich kann nur zum Start den Kreisradius und die Geschwindigkeit angeben. Was sie dann umkreist? Keine Ahnung. hier hätte ich mir gewünscht dass man dann die Modi entweder ganz weglässt oder so gestaltet wie bei der normalen Atom. Nun zum Gimbal. Der eigentlich keiner ist. DIe Kamera lässt sich hoch und runter neigen und ist quasi in Gummipuffern gelagert. Und ja, für viele mag ein echter 3 Achsen GImbal sinn machen wenn er die Aufnahmen für etwas besonderes verwenden möchte. Aber, und das sage ich unabhängig vom Hersteller oder irgendwem, wer erstmal nicht viel Geld ausgeben will, versucht es mit der SE. DIe gummigelagerte Aufhängung in Kombination mit der super Stabilisierung macht ihren Job wirklich außerordentlich gut. Ich selbst bin Anfänger und habe mit einer Drohne noch nie Aufnahmen gemacht. Und trotzdem konnte ich ohne richtigen Gimbal wirklich, für mich zumindest, gute und stabile Aufnahmen erzielen. Ja, es erfordert etwas Fingerspitzengefühl wie schnell man fliegt und sich dreht. Und gerade bei stärkerem Wind wirds zur Herausvorderung. Aber das motiviert mich umso mehr dran zu arbeiten und immer feinfühliger zu werden. Alles in allem eine super Drohne die wirklich alles hält was sie verspricht. Aukkulauftzeit kommt an die Angaben des Herstellers hin, Top Fotos und Videos, super Flugeigenschaften und wertige Fernbedienung. Es gibt nur Kleinigkeiten die man bemängeln könnte. Nicht so wertige Foto und Videotasten auf der Fernbedienung, Flugmodi die weniger spaßig sind ohne Dinge zu markieren und die Werbung bzw Bewerbung des Produkts auf Amazon mit Bildern die auch Hersteller von Drohnen auf Temu und CO benutzen. Das geht jetzt an @Potensic selbst. Traut euch was und macht seriöse Bilder und Marketing. Eure Drohnen sind wirklich super und der Hammer. Wenn euer Preis/Leistungsverhältnis weiterhin so passt, könnt ihr wirklich eine Konkurenz zum Marktführer sein. DJI lässt sich sein Monopol bezahlen und genau für Leute wie mich oder auch andere die nach günstigeren, sehr guten Alternativen suchen, seit ihr wirklich in der perfekten Marktlücke gelandet. Macht was draus. Ich habe mir jetzt auch das Ladepack und noch einen Akku bestellt damit ich alles geschlossen an einem Gerät laden kann. Es macht einfach so Spaß dass es nervt ständig alles extra anstecken zu müssen. Das wars von mir. Wirklich super Produkt und ich hoffe das es mit Updates lange versorgt wird.
