If you're considering this item, I'll save you from reading the rest of my review by telling you to go for it! This far exceeded my expectations and honestly impresses me. If I'm impressed then I'm sure others that view my home office will appreciate the aesthetic as well. Not only is it stylish but highly functional. I usually run a laptop and desktop simultaneously with a total of four screens. This mat provides some order to that chaos as well as room for two keyboards, two mice, and small notepad. When ordering this mat I imagined that the backing and overall mat would be thicker. I was very glad to find that it is very thin, but not to the extent that it lessens the quality. I haven't had any issue with it sliding, so the rubber backing is sufficient at holding it in place. I ordered the solid blue color. I would suggest the solid colors over the "leather" ones for the simple fact that these are microfiber leather. Any authentic leather colors will not look like genuine leather and would end up making it look of lesser quality than it actually is. That's just my opinion. I can't speak to the long-term durability yet, but at this price I wouldn't be disappointed if I had to buy a new one every year. At this time I expect that it will last much longer than that. The travel capabilities with the roll strap is a good addition if you plan on taking it on vacation or an extended work trip. I don't think it will be useful for regular travel to a coffee shop, classroom, or library just for the sheer size of the mat (31" x 15.5") when in place. Fantastic style, fantastic price, fantastic quality!

I don't usually write reviews but I was so impressed with this product I felt they deserved a good review. I bought this desk pad so I could get rid of my mouse pad and have a cleaner looking desktop. The item arrived quickly and I was impressed right away with the packaging: the pad came in a long box, rolled up and wrapped in a protective sheet. Sometimes you buy things online and they say leather but when they arrive they don't look, feel or smell like leather, so I held my expectations in check until I got it. I was VERY pleasantly surprised. The quality is excellent! It definitely looks and feels like soft leather (no smell that I can tell). It works great as a mouse pad and gives my desk a classy facelift as well. Would definitely buy again - 5 stars in every category!

This product has a good build quality and the 'dark brown' color looks great! It is a solid size and is easy to readjust the (the back of the cover isn't overly-grippy). The only con for the product is that it came rolled-up and when you try to initially lay it flat it will curl along the sides that were rolled. However, they gradually become flatter and putting something heavy on it will make it lay flat quicker. Overall, great product and very stylish; I am happy with my purchase.

Updated to 4 stars. After 3 months, the corners have finally laid flat, however the occasional puckering from changes in humidity still comes up. It otherwise is great and is easy to clean. When I got the mat, it came tightly rolled and needed to lay out for a couple days to flatten out. The mat came with instructions to put books on the ends to help flatten the curl on those ends. After a couple weeks, the ends haven't changed at all,even after several nights with books and other objects resting on them to flatten things out. But today I've found a new issue - I live in Denver, where it's usually quite dry. Today has been a bit humid (very rare in Denver) with rain this afternoon. The whole darn mat is puckered from the humidity. The instructions don't say what to do for that. The color is nice. It does work great to have my full size keyboard, wrist pad, and mouse with room to spare. The overall quality just isn't all there. I'll stick with it for a few more weeks, but I have a feeling I'll be looking for a replacement real soon.

This desk pad is perfect! I got the medium sized pink/silver color, but it’s more of a mauve color, which is still beautiful. I set it up on my desk and it’s the perfect size. It keeps my desk from getting scratched up and food from staining it. I accidentally knocked my water bottle over and it spilled everywhere on my desk, but I was able to clean it off and it was good as new! Overall, this is an awesome desk pad for the inexpensive price.

Very nice leather. It's not the thickest pad (just a little over 2mm thick) but it does what it needs to. It protects my nice wooden desk from my arms covered in sunblock or lotion or just sweat. So far it has yet to absorb or show any staining, we'll see as time goes on. The color is exactly how it looks on screen (Mint). The edges do still have yet to fully unroll, even with a couple heavy books laid on top, but it's not too bad at this point.

I love this mat. One small branding element in the bottom right corner of it, I don't notice it because its not a real debossing, its like etched or something. Hell you could turn the mat 180º and put a coaster over it. As others said it took a little time and pressure to flatten out the edges. I did mine over time, mostly on the corner with large books. I'm considering getting another for work. I bought this as a replacement for a "gaming mat" that was porous and a pain in the butt to clean. I don't even eat at my computer but the tiniest particles will get lodged into the fibers requiring a brush to get out entirely. This mat is just a textured leather-like surface (I don't know if its leather) but my point is there are no fibers for stuff to get lodged in, cleans up real easy without having to get a freaking brush. Now one of my concerned from going to this mat from a gaming-focused one was mostly because I get that neoprene seems more durable and better for tracking for mice. A non-porous material on this mat might feel "gummy" to some folks. I'm using a G403 on this guy and it feels fine. However, you could always just replace the teflon mouse feet with thin felt-like feet and boom, you'd pretty much replicate the same feeling of using a neoprene or porous mat, but this isn't full of branding or dumb colors.

Not really impressed. I was hoping it would have a higher quality feel to it. It does make the surface nice to write on. It came rolled up and it took some effort to work the curls out. Not that it did me much good.... I've had it less than a month andd the edges are curling. It's very thin. It has a sleek look to it, just not a great quality product. I feel like I could've went to a fabric store, purchased a yard of leather fabric, cut to fit, and had the exact product I have now.
