The blower came with the blower control module attached. Just plugged into harness under dash and seated the blower. Works great and not a bad price. Highly recommend.

My car air conditioner stopped working during the summer. I did some research regarding components that were most likely to fail. This component had the highest probability of failure within the system. I replaced it. This piece fit and worked immediately. It did take some YouTube installation research to install correctly. Overall, great product and purchase.

No issues whatsoever. Just need to watch a couple of youtube videos on how to install. DO NOT remove your dash. Under the dash box there is a black fabric cover that has two plastic turn screws holding it on. Upon removing this cover, you'll find the motor installed under the dash. Use a flashlight to see the two electrical plug. As I recall there are two but only one holding it in. After you disconnect from the electrical system, you turn counter clockwise and push in a small clip allowing it to rotate. Then it pulls out. It is awkward putting the new one back, so pay attention to how you rotate the old one out. You will need lighting under the dash to see due to the awkward fitting but you should be fine after a couple of minutes of trying different ways to get it back in. Do NOT force it into the hole, it should slide in easily then turn to click. It does include the two pieces, the motor and resistor for the fan motor. I was surprised bc the description did not include any reference to this. You can probably keep the resistor from the old one just in case this one doesn't have it in the box. With or without the resistor it's a good deal; with the resistor is just a bonus. My skill level is I can fix most things with instructions but have never rebuild or changed an engine etc. Anything major I have to get a mechanic but this is probably a 3 out of 10 difficulty level needed to change. Just be patient and find instructions online.

Fits the 2013 VW Passat SE. swapped out the old one for this and it ran fine. Curious to see how long it will last. Just happy to have flowing air again. Very comparable to the OEM.

2014 Passat SE fits perfectly. Does not even require any tools. Simply unscrew 2 plastic screws with your fingers and then pull down carpet panel piece. Pull locking tab slightly down on unit and turn blower 1/4 turn and it will drop down from vent hole. Disconnect the wiring clip and it’s removed. To reinstall… clip electric in new blower, slip it into vent hole and turn counterclockwise one turn until heat a click. Then put carpet panel piece back in place and screw in the 2 plastic screws with your finger. 10 minute job…. Now to see how long this unit lasts.

I am by no means a mechanic. The old unit pulled out with no tools needed, not even a screwdriver (YouTube video). I took this new one out of the box and installed it in less than 5 minutes. Turned the key and my heat is now working again. I highly recommend spending the few extra dollars to get this unit that includes the resistor assembly already installed. Saved over $300 and hours sitting in the repair shop.
