We all know the name, Clorox growing up, so it only made sense to use this quality stuff for my hot tub. Price was good. Container is good chemical work fine.

This stuff works fine, but you have to know what you’re doing. I was adding more and more, having the same gripe as some other reviewers, but I consulted an AI app (highly recommended) that explained to me what I’m doing wrong. Just like cooking, you can’t just throw the ingredients in a pan and expect a recipe to make itself. Grok told me how much to add, what will happen, what to do next… if I had just kept adding more, I would have experienced a PH crash. Not good. I was following the bad advice of adding this every day for a week to get things down. Instead, you add a little larger doses over 1 or 2 days to get alkalinity down, then run the jets and air on full blast with the lid off to bring the PH back up without increasing alkalinity. Seriously, consult someone at the store or give all the details of your tub to AI and see what it says. You may be surprised to find that the problem is not the product, but rather how you’re using it.

It is ideal if you use your hot tub or pool frequently. In my case, my little ones use it two or three times a week, and it is perfect to keep the pH balanced.

Great product works in 10 minutes for hot tub.

Accidentally put ph up chemicals in my hot tub a couple times so used this to bring the ph back down and it worked very well. Would recommend keeping a bottle around if you’ve got a hot tub.
