Beautiful book.
I wish the studio had the foresight to produce a book like this for the original Blade Runner. Film Producer Tanya Lapointe chronicles the entire production process of this masterpiece and it is amazing. Whether you are a fan of the film or an aspiring filmmaker, this book is worth every penny.

Definitive coffee table book on blade runner's instant existential classic. Well balanced content.
is monstrosity of a book just arrived at my door. Written by Denis villneuve's partner Tanya lapointe (an astute montreal media productive figure). An exclusive hands on in depth look into all aspects of the making of the film- and insights that further expresses the emotional and philosophical intent the filmmakers intended. Aka “the heart, theater, DNA and soul of blade runner 2049 “(!) Mini review i did for amazon:Serving as personal assistant to husband/director denis villeneuve, author Tanya Lapointe takes us through behind the scenes of the esteemed sequel to 1982's blade runner. This over size coffee table book is vivid and rich in imagery....we are given bios and reasoning behind how the characters are acted out, and we of course follow the narrative. While its a little physically hard to hold when reading, the information provided is just sufficient enough and doesn't wax effusive or go to uber-fan like in tone. There is plenty enough of images from the film as well as conceptual art that makes this book a ubmnique definitive and broad stroked indepth view on the making of this futuristic instant classic of a movie. Its not necessary to get the deluxe edition...at the cost its at anyway ...all it is is a hardcover protective fabric black case that comes with a glow in the dark print from a movie still. While not as exhaustive as say Future Noir, the definitive making of book of the movie's predecessor, its just enough to see how many dreamers it takes and their hard work in making a worthwhile sequel that in fact, stands on its own.

Subpar print quality.
Fun book to skim through, but nothing special. Disappointing print quality.
