Astronomy 2018 Calendar – Wall Calendar, June 2, 2017

I've been gifted or bought Terrence Dickinson's Astronomy calendar since 1999. I'm always pleased with the variety of photos. The space history and cosmic trivia are always great. Definitely breaks up the ubiquitous 3 month calendars hung everywhere in the office. Would recommend for any space geek.

Very beautiful but contains misinformation. On March 13th it says Venus and Jupiter will pass each other in the West at dusk. Unfortunately Jupiter is on the opposite side from Venus currently. Mercury is passing Venus right now. I’m hoping the remainder is correct.

I really wanted to like it more, but it has two holes and so hangs crooked where I put it. I need to go pick up more nails or tacks. D:I'll likely enjoy it far more once that is done.

Unbelievably beautiful pictures of the cosmos in this calendar. Each month is better than the last.

Beautiful photos with interesting facts. Almost everyday has something interesting to learn. Love it.

The pictures

As always, the photos are absolutely stunning, fast shipping, arrived perfectly packaged.

Great high quality astro-images. However, the calendar part just doesn't need to identify foreign holidays (like Robbie Burns Day in Scotland). These spaces should be filled with only astronomical interest...., because it's an Astronomy calendar. A center hole for hanging the calendar, replacing the dual holes, would also be better (I had to punch a center hole in each page so I could hang it).

This calendar has beautiful pictures and a lot of great information as well. My husband and I love it and will be looking for one for 2019.

I've been buying Dickinson's calendar since 1999 and have never stopped loving it. It is beautiful in its photography, and informative in Dickinson's expert editorials.

Quality pictures and calendar paper.

This is - to my mind - the most beautiful calendar with terrific photographs of planets, the night sky and galactic nebulae and clusters like the best abstract paintings. But more inspiring! A year is not complete unless I have an Astronomy calendar prominently hanging in the hall. There are useful sinppets of astronomical info printed on various significant dates too, but it is the impact of the stunning photograps that grabs me. Yes, I know you can see these photographs online, and those sites are great, but I like seeing them permanently on display as I whip in and out of the door, in this - I suppose - older, but still valid, format.
