Immune C 60 Tablets

This jar of Immune C tablets contains 60 large tablets which I have found difficult to swallow, especially as they are not coated. Due to this, I have had to split them down into two pieces. I have not noticed any taste or after taste with them. The strength quality is 1800mg for a two tablet dosage which for me personally, is too much for a daily dosage.. I can find that too much Vitamin C can upset my stomach. They are great as an immune booster though when I am feeling out of sorts. At the time of ordering, the bottle was £12.44 which I feel is on the more expensive side.

Easy to take and good dosage.

These tablets are best broken as they are chunky and a bit hard to get down. They taste a little sour but it's not too bad. They come in a nice glass easy to open and close bottle which is helpful especially if you struggle getting access to some tablets. It came with a very difficult to remove sticky label over the ingredients and dosage and as they are not shown on the adverts, which is not helpful, I will just take one each day. Other than that they seem good quality albeit a bit expensive for 60 tablets.

The tablets are large, but I split them in half. The taste is pleasant, which makes them easy to take (sometimes i even chew them). Vitamin C supports the immune system, helps reduce tiredness and fatique, contributes to collagen formation for skin and gums, and protects cells from oxidative stress. Everthing that a 40+ person like me desperately needs. I'm feeling energised and optimistic this will help me keep my health in a good condition. Great quality and fairly price.

Patrick Holford produces a great range of vitamins and supplements and you can guarantee the quality will be top notch. These are a gear vitamin c based winter immune support supplement. They didn’t upset my stomach which can be a real issue with vitamin tablets. Well worth trying in the winter months to see if you get a benefit.

The tablets are quite large but I don't have any trouble swallowing them and I haven't noticed any unpleasant taste from them (not that I usually do with vitamin C supplements). It's quite a high dosage at 1800mg, which I think is more than the recommended daily maximum. I believe the excess passes through you so it's OK for occasional use but personally I don't think I'll be taking them on a daily basis as I've read there can be complications from taking very high doses of vitamin C on a regular basis. However for an occasional boost I think it's fine. At the time I'm writing this the price is £12.44 for 60 tablets, so about 21p per tablet, which seems a bit on the high side but of course it will be up to personal preference if you think the quality is worth it. I do believe they're well made, high quality supplements so no complaints on that front.

This review is for the Patrick Holford Immune C 60 Tablets I know the Patrick Holford brand and have tried a selection of his products. This arrived in a glass bottle which is sealed for integrity. I am familiar with the use of vitamin c to support the immune system and understand the theory of high dose vitamin c ( to bowel tolerance). I am pleased to not the product also contains the water soluble mineral zinc, also supports the immune system. These are higher strength than seen on the high street, taste of almost nothing and ae fab to have available in the winter months.
