As a big man-child there's something about vinyl style/hard plastic toys which often catch my eye. Though to be straight I'm not a brand aware kinda person, so I don't know what's currently a trending or super popular brand. What I saw was a fun looking Shrek toy, one brilliant movie, so I thought why not!So after carelessly opening the box, which shows there's 7 items available, what did I find inside ?As this is a 'blind-bag', there was 2 sealed bags. One contains the figure and one contains the base.The figure and base is hard plastic with a soft vinyl feel and is well made, with no visible seam lines and no moving parts. It clips together easily and feels like a quality product. Plus theres 2 cards, one say what character you've got and one 'product registration' card.The character card was actually helpful, because not everyone recognised the character was Fiona.Which I'd say is a valid point as the look of this figure isn't as seen in the film. So that did distract a little from the fun value of this and made it a much more generic figure.Though, as with many alt-style collectables, accuracy isn't the important factor, it's about the collecting.Hence where the second card comes in, this give instructions on how to validate and register your collectable with Jaxx. To do that scan the card to download an IOS or android app.Now peel the verified sticker from the base and the app will read an NFC chip inside the base. Which I thought might give the purchaser some form of extra value enhanced experience. Such as that found on a certain brand of chocolate eggs with a toy.What you actually get is a certificate of authenticity and not much else, which was a tad disappointing.Though in fairness it's more than some collectable makers do, especially given the low price point.Overall ? As vinyl figure for ardent adult collectors it's brilliant, but possibly not for younger fans of the movie.

I never get something what I want to get on these kind of blind box!!Got the Shrek, the card inside shows which one you will get.So even before opening the wrapping, you know what it is.The bottom blocks can be linked if you have more than one blind box.OK for the price, wish I have a better luck next time.

Arrived well packaged no problems there.Great product, item as described, could make a good gift, it's Good quality and well made, have no problems with it at all thank you.

My daughter is a bit of a magpie when it comes to collecting cute pop culture merch, so this was right in her wheel house. This is a blind box, so you'll not be entirely sure which Shrek figure you'll receive - but they're all nice and it'll be a surprise when one of the little guys pops up in the mail.I like the design of these Mighty Jaxx, they sit somewhere in between Funko-Pops and things like Playmobile. The plastic is decent quality, colours are nice and the printing is good and clean. The box isn't quite as fancy as the Funko boxes. We got a Fiona in the end. Great.The only problem we had was that the little box was entirely squished in shipping, so that was a bit of a shame. Otherwise, the product itself is nice.

What you get is a box containing two bags. One bag contains a base, the other contains a solid figure. There is a chip in the base which can be used to access an authentification certificate. The figure that you get is random, so collecting a set is likely to become very expensive, if you are unable to do swaps with other collectors. The figures do look and feel like high quality. However, they have no articulation and children lose interest in them very quickly.

So after many different ranges from Mighty Jaxx we get to the Shrek franchise, again it is blind bag purchases so if you want them all it could end up eating away at your savings, this time however I think it could be worth it, despite the character of Shrek that I got not looking much like any of the films depictions he is utterly adorable and even has a little plush donkey on his hat, apparently this is the ultra rare figure so consider my chuffedness as a happy recommendation for Mighty Jaxx for at least this series.

I have heard of mighty Jaxx in the past, but I have never owned anything of theirs. I am also a collector and I love a blind bag so when I saw these I had to try them. The quality of the vinyl figure inside these boxes is premium and perfect for adult collectors. They are well made, highly detailed and I love the additions of the collectable cards. The packaging itself is well designed and has embossing detail made glossy against a matte background. The only thing I didn't like was the stickers which you're supposed to be able to scan into the app. These were useless and I could only get one to work and that took ages. Overall though, even though they are slightly pricey I think theses are must haves. Out of the blind boxes I received, I was happy with all the figures I and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They are dangerous though, because I now want to complete the set. 5*

This shrek line and others like it are adorable and provide some excitement from the blind "bag". It can also be a huge money sink when you want to collect them all. When it's 90p packs of cards or stickers that's not too bad, but in my opinion nearly £14 for a blind bag is a joke. I know it's personal preference, but for me, I'd rather buy a Pop-Vinyl of a character I know and love for this price. Still, it's a good quality miniature and well made so can't mark it down too much just based on preference.
