Pretty easy to put together. It’s absolutely beautiful. I have gotten so many compliments on this. It’s very roomy and quite sturdy. I use it by my grill to hold all my grilling accessories! I would highly recommend getting this!

This is not hardwood, so the wood is not the strongest. You need to be careful not to over tighten. There were several pieces where the screws are no longer holding because a tick of too much muscle will cause your screw to spin indefinitely. Has a strong smell but I suppose that this is natural (cedar?) and will help keep bugs away (?). The top of the shelf is not a solid metal piece like it appeared to be, it’s like a thin aluminum sheet covering a wood piece.Other than that, looks great and has the capacity that I was looking for so it’s a keeper.

I’m decently pleased with this! I had it out of the box and assembled in 1hr 15 min. I had to drill some pilot holes that were lined up right, and the door hinges are off a tad. One piece of wood split - little, but I think it will be okay. It’s not super heavy duty, and probably not suitable for outside.

Nice looking but NOT outdoor materials or paint. It is fairly easy to put together and pieces fit together well...BUT the wood is fairly thin pine and the grey paint is like a light coating of primer. We'll be putting a good coat of paint on it inside and out so it may last a few years.

Where do I begin?1. If you are looking for a true OUTDOORS potting bench, THIS ISN’T IT. Contrary to the item illustrated it’s made of unfinished teak-colored wood. I suppose it might actually look pretty good with a coat of spar varnish, and then hold up to the weather. Even after doing that, which I did not bargain for, the doors have no seal to keep rain out.2. That “adjustable” shelf is fixed in place with screws, not at all adjustable. And the assembly …3. Assembly is very difficult for one person. The back of the cabinet consists of two panel fitted together with dowels, and VERY difficult to hold in place while the side panels are attached by screws. By all means make sure you have a cordless screwdriver to do the job or it’s impossible for one person. And finally…4.The “metal” top shelf is wood wrapped in some sort of metallic looking contact paper-like material. I doubt this will hold up for long.5. I brought up all these concerns in an email when I was considering a return. Despite the seller’s promise to respond “within 48 hours” I received nothing in that time.Still, it’s serviceable, and I suppose it will hold up outdoors if I can find a grill cover the right size to cover it when not in use. Final comment:BUYER BEWARE.

Sturdy and functional. We needed to replace an unattractive grill table. This worked. My husband filed a small opening down into the inside for the propane tank hose so that there'd be no hose on the outside. He also didn't use the interior shelf because the tank is too tall. He cut it in half, bought narrow black brackets and we now have shelves on both sides! Not the best wood, a little fragile, and the galvanized top seems to be a thin vaneer, but all in all a good purchase.

I will freely admit that when it comes to DIY build it yourself, I am not the greatest. This cabinet arrived on time and packed very carefully. All of the pieces are numbered, and to make assembly easier, I put a big Post-it note on each piece to Make it easier to identify all of the pieces.… And there are quite a few. The assembly instructions were easy to follow and with a simple screwdriver I was able to put it together all by myself. I am very pleased with the finished product. While this is not a high end Piece of furniture, it serves my purpose. It sits outside in a sheltered area.

I like the look of the product. It was easy to follow the instructions. My 2 stars are because the first page of the instructions specifically states THIS ITEM IS NOT FOR OUTDOOR USE. This is in direct contrast not only to the product name but also the product description / specifications, both which state OUTDOOR POTTING BENCH. I would not have ordered it as I need something that can hold up to weather. The wood is somewhat and likely some kind of pressed product. I cannot transport an item of this size to return it so I will be contacting customer service.ADDITION: If you have scent/smell sensitivity, this item has a very strong odor.
