🖋️ This is a great little book of crosswords that can be challenging at times, depending on your ability, but the book is addictive. As I write this on New Year's Day, my family is busy doing yet another puzzle. I quite like the challenge, and even if you don’t complete them because there is an unfamiliar word, the solutions are in the back, and it is educational. We have certainly had our mental blanks filled in with the names of obscure birds and insects. I also like when there is a themed crossword where many of the words have the same endings or it’s the turn of types of staged music.📖 If you get frustrated by not being able to finish a crossword because there is one word that eludes you, particularly when the clue is somewhat oblique, then this collection might not be for you. Most of the clues lead to familiar words or can be worked out, and missing one of those is the most frustrating. On a personal note, I found that I became better at the crosswords as I went along, so practice makes perfect. Once this one is finished, I will certainly be tempted to get another. ✔️

This book was a puzzle from start to finish

Good mix of easy and not so easy. Some dated ie Portuguese currency is the Euro not the Escudo! It's a page for each one . But heavy for carrying on luggage though.

My favourite crossword books. I enjoy doing them daily . Not too easy and not overly hard. I like to be able to search for some of the answers to expand my vocabulary.
