INHIBITIF 30ml Hair-Free Face Serum

The original inhibitif was really good and effective slowing down hair growth and no problems with skin. Since manufacturers changed the formula at the end of 2017 it is terrible. It's oily making my skin constantly break out in spots and leaves a sticky yellow residue. It also has a horrible smell. It's also not very effective anymore but that could be because it is so unpleasant that I am not using it as often. I am looking for an alternative. I notice that all the good reviews of this product are before the formula was changed in 2017. I wrote to the manufacturers asking why change a winning formula and alienate a large audience of women who rely on it and will now have to go elsewhere. Their answer was that they are a science company and therefore constantly develop their formulas. Silly me I thought redeveloping a formula was supposed to be to improve it!

Works really well. Cult Beauty no longer stock it, pleased to find it on Amazon. Will buy again.

This isn't the same product in the photo! The new formula is oily and sticky and takes ages to absorb. Not any good at all. Inhibitif, please bring back the non-oily, non-sticky, non-smelly, fast-absorbing formula!!!

I purchased this product last year and received good results, despite using it inconsistently. I tried again at the beginning of the year and later had to purchase the new, rebranded product. This formula is far different from the previous one and has a lot of issues.The new formula stains terribly, even after leaving it on for 8 hours overnight it still stained my facecloth. This was never an issue before. The new formula has a thicker, more oily texture. It left my face tacky for hours after application, whereas it would previously dry within the hour. The dropper also has a wider nozzle, leaving the product to leak without any movement.After a week of using the new formula, I developed a rash. Scents can irritate my skin and the added fragrance is probably the cause of this as there was no other change to my face routine. It is a shame that fragrance was added despite serving no purpose.I am very disappointed in this product. It still works - with both formula, I noticed results within a week - but I can no longer use it. Even if the rash was a one-off, the fact that my face is tacky and prone to staining 8 hours after application is honestly ridiculous.I held off buying Inhibitif a few years ago because I heard of staining issues, and then the formula was changed to improve this. It's a shame that it is now back to square one. I have rated this so low because the formula was changed unnecessarily and now causes problems that weren’t there before.

This serum seems to do something and it is the second bottle I am using to reduce annoying face hair. It is not the magic answer to face hair removal but it does help and is about the best product for me so far. Bear in mind, though, that we are not all the same and some will react differently. For one thing, my underarm hair is non existent (strange, eh! but different). Anyay it may work better on some, and maybe worse on others. I think it is worth a try.To apply this you use the dropper to place a drop on your finger and apply to the face area concerned. So I suppose if you want to do an entire face you need several drops. This serum is slightly different to their body hair serum and is specificaly for the face. They recommend application twice a day for eight weeks (more weeks if you choose to) and then do a top up application once evry few days to keep things as achieved.

This product is great. I have used it for months now and it really works! I no longer have horrible stubble on mychin, any hairs that grow are now very fine. I would recommend this product.

Been using it for 3 months, does nothing and I suspect it gave me a weird burn around my mouth. It's pretty expensive to buy and try to see if this product works. My advice is don't bother!
