I had a ticking start in my PS5 original one day and looked into it and saw a fine film of dust on the fan and around it so I completely took it apart to clean motherboard and all which was unnecessary lol no dust their just on the fan and around it. Cleaned it all and put it back together but the ticking was still there so I bought this fan and put it in! The ticking continued so I guess it wasn’t the fan but after about a week it stopped. Anyways this fan is still working great several months later!

So far so much better!
I had a 17 blade fan that came with my launch PS5. I found that out when I went to finally clean the fan. I had heard these 23 blade fans were much better, and they most certainly are. No more high pitched squeel which was there from day 1 with the original. If it continues to work into the future, this is an absolute must if you can't stand the sound of the 17 blade fan. Very happy with my purchase so far!
