it works!
You drill a hole, you put it in, scoop out what's left in that hole, and put your dry rods, I mean it's as simple as that, and it works, I've completed a few jobs and it hasn't broke.

Worth the money, solid investment for the job
Expensive for what it is material wise but job was made 200% easier. Solid tool and easy to use. Still using it except now as a mini lawn aerator on the really bad patches.

Good unless you have thicker walls in an old house.
Great for cleaning holes up to 21cm deep as long masonry drill bits are not always so good at clearing motar dust and the Dryrods soon jam if there is any dust left. However, in old houses with thicker (14"+) walls a long tool is needed.

Made the job a breeze
Does exactly as described.Glad I bought this to clean out the 12mm holes. Made inserting the stores a breeze.Would have struggled cleaning out the holes without.

absolute must if applying chemical damp proofing
was sceptical when i did my research aout buying this tool as i thought it was a gimmick.i confess now after drilling > 100 holes in stone and brick - this is a mustDrilling was with a 12mm dewalt drill bit, the amount of debris still left in the hole was amazing- emptied completely by using this tool. Even using a Henry hoover to try and suck the debris out of the whole did not work as well as thisI msuggestion is BUY it, clear the hole out with the tool and you can still use the hoover to be sure. At least that way you get a perfectly empty hole wo that it will fill completely with damp proof cream etc.My only suggestion to the makers of this productis- putting some markings on the tool to allow a Guage of depth. i put masking tape on at 95mm from the tip so i could gauge how much of a whole a made in brick a the SDS hammer drill sometimes didnt make the full depth that i wanted (despite using a depth gauge on the SDS)with the markings it would be a 6 * product
