Fun and good value for money. It was only after buying these, noticing something a bit strange as to how they are marked and their effrct on a compass, plus how they behaved when suspended on a thread. I thought they were marjed incorrectly. However, with a bit of research my lifelong understanding of the Earth's magnetic field was stood on its head! The North magnetic pole is actually the Earth's South magnetic pole. So the end of the nagnet marked 'N' for North is a north magnetic pole and points North because - up there - is a South Pole. Er, I think that's right, look North Magentic Pole up in Wikipedia! Embarrasing for a trained electronics developnent technician to be that ignorant about geomagnetism . . . Just have fun.

Extremely pleased with these magnets. Well packed properly with keepers. Very helpful leaflet explaining the care of them. Worth every penny!

My 6 year old son discovered the pole markings were incorrect but other than that excellent magnets. It taught my son not to accept what manufacturers say but to prove it for yourself!

Magnetism is what you'd expect for the size of the magnets.

Magnets are very strong even though they are small. One issue is the paint chips rather quickly but otherwise its a good product to buy. Don't have any other product to compare this too, but I would recommend this to anyone wanting to buy magnets.

The covering paperwork states that the magnets can easily become demagnetised (paraphrasing) and "they can be magnetically weakened by holding them in repulsion". This is a pity because repulsion is one of the key demonstration features of a couple of bar magnet like this, and if this is going to cause them to cease to work like magnets, I think that should be made clear in the product description.

Leuk om mee te experimenteren, maar de magneet viel op een tapijt vanaf ongeveer 50 cm en brak in twee stukken. Ik had niet gedacht dat een stuk ijzer zo snel kon breken. Jammer.

Nicht die allerstärksten Magnete, aber sie haben ein gutes Format und funktionieren, wie man es erwartet. Über die Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nicht viel sagen ... aber es macht Spaß sie einzusetzen.

Un bon produit qui ce comporte comme prévu (N indique le Nord et inversement). L'ensemble est présenté dans un emballage solide bien qu'un peu difficile à ouvrir. Les surfaces peintes ne résistent pas beaucoup aux chutes et autres essais un peu violents (ou alors évitez de les laisser à des enfants…).

Los he adquirido para realizar talleres en la noche de los investigadores y estoy muy contento. Vienen empaquetados en una cajita de plástico para protegerlos y guardarlos cuando no se usen. Vienen 2 por caja, pensé que era solo uno y me llevé una grata sorpresa. No son tan fuertes como los de neodimio, pero son perfectos para dibujar las líneas de campo con polvo metálico. Recomendado 100%
