I bought four of these lights to place in flower pots alongside my flowers on a Deck. They are cheerful accent lights , make me smile. Some reviews have said they don’t really sway, can’t speak to that as my deck if fairly sheltered from the wind, and that was not important to me. Some have mentioned that one light out of the 6 does not light. They are not sheltered from the rain, doesn’t seem to be a problem so far. That was true for one of the four I purchased. Mine get strong morning light and that is enough to keep them lit for quite awhile, they are still on when we go to bed. I like them so much I’ve purchased them for my father. If they last thru the summer I’ll be happy, they were inexpensive.

I ordered a total of 4 of these solar garden light stalks. They arrived quickly, and I set them up using interior bright lamps to charge the solar cells but I had to wait a few days until weather allowed me to try them out in the garden. After a few nights I noticed that each of the 4 light stalks gave off varying amounts of illumination --- in fact one appeared to just barely glow. I was disappointed but after rereading some reviews, I decided to try what one reviewer had done. I opened the case of one of the stalks, removed the Ni-MH AA 600m battery and used 2 different battery testers to determine the charge. Both testers registered barely any detectable charge. I put a brand new Ni-MH battery in the light's case turned it on and it glowed nicely! Then I gathered up the 3 remaining light stalks, removed their batteries and inserted new ones. All 3 of them glowed as well as the first did. I've had them back in the yard for several weeks now and they continue to light up each evening and give off comparable soft illumination.All in all I am now pleased with these lights, but am still disappointed that I had to trouble-shoot them as much as I did. Luckily I had an unopened pack of 4 of the specified battery.Perhaps a removeable pull-tab would prevent the power loss of the batteries as they are in transit. All I know for certain is that by replacing the nearly dead batteries with new ones brought them back to life!

I am using these lights in my large plants. One inside my house and one outside. I like that they are easy to use. They are charged by the sun and come on in the evenings. They create great ambiant lighting. I’ve had several months and they are holding up fine. I liked mine so much I gave some as a gift to a family member that really admired them. 4 for brightness just because they are brilliant and can see them from a distance but probably can’t read by them. Beautiful!

Updated review:Seller reached out and offered a full refund or a replacement of item. I chose a replacement as I did enjoy them when they were working. They have sent me a new set and I am trying them out now. Will give up again later in season.These were really cute and I put them in my flower garden. However, the lights on them didn’t work for very long. Didn’t even last a season.

I love these solar lights. They have been out 24/7 ever since I got them approximately a year ago. They have been out in every cold day of our Wisconsin Winter. Out in the heat and humidity and the rain. They are still bright and beautiful. They sway in the wind. They look like huge fire flies. They gave me such joy when I look at them in my flower garden. Don’t hesitate to buy these!

I loved these solar lights. I placed them in my poinsettia plants and my cactus tree, they look just wonderful. They glow all night long until daybreak. The plastic film covering the solar panel is to be removed to allow the battery to fully charge. It was probably very obvious to some to remove the plastic film, but it was not mentioned before, or noted in the instructions. The protective plastic film is only there for protection while shipping. -Ann
