Easy to program and cut. Works just like the factory key and fob.

Perfect as ordered. Went to lock smith and they cut the key and programmed it to my 2017 Ford F150 XLT ECO BOOST. Works just like my other FOB that came with the truck when I bought it. After programming and cutting the whole thing including the fob cost my $130.

After the fob briskly arrived from Amazon, I took it down and had it laser cut at the locksmith (at a local shop it was $35) with no issues. I then programmed it using my 2 other OEM keys first (2016 F150), and it worked right away, easy peasy. I tested the key to turn the truck on and it worked. Then I tested the buttons and lock and unlock work, but the remote start does not. Which honestly, is not a deal breaker. I am still happy I spent a total of $85-ish vs $450 but it's a little disappointing that the remote start doesn't work. I did try to program it a second time, and it programmed to the truck both times, but remote start still does not work. If I figure it out, I will update the review. Other observations are that It's nearly as robust as the OEM fob. The weight, the buttons, the way the key flips out all seem to be on par. The physical parts of it seems like it will last a while. We'll see how long the internals last. Also, and this is ultra nit-picky, but the button labels aren't bright white like the OEM fob. They are like a dirty white/cream color. Again, not a deal-breaker, but I think about it every time I use the key. Off to a drawer it goes, until one of my OEM keys are broken or lost.

Absolute junk. Cheapest replacement key possible. Fitbit cut and programmed by locksmith. Buttons only work 2/4 times. Remote start button 1/4 times. Waste of money. Buy the own for $20 more on eBay. You’ll thank me. Highly recommend you avoid this. Wasted $100 cutting and programming this fob. Junk junk junk
