Does what it's supposed to. However, there was a dent in mine. Not noticeable when you look at it but definitely can feel the dent when you run your finger over the pattern.

Love this for keeping my purse off dirty floors when dining out. Pretty and compact, easy to fold and unfold. Only reason not 5 stars is need to take some care when positioning on table so doesn't fall off -- could just be that my purses are big and heavy. Would highly recommend anyway -- inexpensive way to protect your purse.

How ironic--I chose this purse hook because it was cheap, and right after I posted a glowing review the metal hook fractured--even though my bag is neither large nor heavy. I'm back on Amazon looking at other options because purse hooks are immensely handy, but this time I'm looking for reputable sellers who indicate the maximum weight their purse hooks will hold. Lesson learned.

Some of the reviews are dis-heartening about this design holding together. I am planning on giving this to a new friend, but will explain the super glue recommended by others. Shouldn't be too big of a problem with that, just feel a little strange giving someone a "might be ok" gift. We'll see.... Package arrived in good time, and in good condition. I am placing it in a gift box, will try to get it "super-glued" before wrapping it. Hope it doesn't need that done to it. No protective bag comes with this.

I was inspired to get one of these after hearing so much about how our purses have the most germs . . . this was cute an could sit in my purse. I haven't used it yet and the pretty pattern has fallen out already with just sitting the purse waiting to be used. It does hold my purse up, so I'll need to find the time to crazy glue the pattern back on, but it was a bit annoying that the manufacturer couldn't be a bit more diligent with glue use.

If you know a woman and this woman owns a purse you should buy this for her...you will look like a genius! If you are a woman like myself who does not want mysterious grease, fluids, etc contaminating your lovely investment and are just sick and tired of having your bag in the way...solution! I use mine all the time and have purchased several as gifts with good responses from the receivers. Women will often approach me when they see it and ask how to find one for themselves. Again perfect gift for that lady in your life :)

This took way too long to recieve, but finally got it. It's really pretty and holds my heavy purse with no problem so far. I haven't had a chance to use now than one time. I had ordered 2 different types of these holders and I definitely prefer this one because it folds up. Will order more for gifts, but will read the delivery date more carefully next time. That's totally my fault, not Amazon. If it breaks soon or anything I'll update my review.

I found the quality excellent. It is strong and very small and when folded will keep in a pocket of your bag when not in use. The picture of lilies on this one is very tasteful. A brilliant invention - whoever came up with the idea! I'd say an excellent stocking filler for all the ladies in the family, and gift for any ladies who don't like putting their bags on the dirty floors of some pubs and restaurants. Fits most tables except those with wide rounded edges or extremely deep ones.
