Seventh GenerationHand Wash, Purely Clean, Fresh Lemon & Tea Tree Scent, 12oz

We LOVE this soap. We like to stay as natural as possible but when our daughter we’re gifted bathroom hand soaps for Christmas we failed our part in checking ingredients. One day I realized my daughter was developing blisters on her hands, we couldn’t figure out why. A few days went by and her hands were awful, after a trip to the er they told us she had chemical burns on her hand and they asked about our cleaners. (All of our cleaners are seventh generation) so we left flabbergasted. A few days go by and as I’m cleaning the bathroom I saw the soap and realized it had to be that! After switching to this no more rash no more blisters, just perfectly soft baby hands. Clean ingredients, great company, we have the entire line now!

Especially in the winter months with influenza spreading around, I like to make sure we have anti-bacterial soap in the house. This one is nice. Great (but not purfumy) scent. Not harsh on the skin.

I suppose I should have returned this, but it was included in a larger order. I couldn't find a small box for return, and it was plainly to much hassle. This is the 2nd pump bottle from Amazon that would not pump. The other was lotion. It's very frustrating and I'm out money. It might be a perfectly fine product, but I couldn't tell.

After doing a load of research on products that use safe, non-toxic ingredients AND ALSO are decently affordable and have a competitive price, I settled on Seventh Generation hand soap. I really wanted to like this product! Clear in color, and natural fragrances only, I thought it would be gentler on my skin which gets so dry in the winter months. Unfortunately, just because it’s made with better ingredients does not mean it’s a better product... In this case, my hands are left feeling extremely dry and the skin feels so tight after every time I wash them. I love the smell and the texture though! This soap has a great lather and an easy pump bottle. And I do appreciate the ingredients and am happy to support a “better brand”, but won’t be buying this soap again, unfortunately.

Honestly I love this brand for cleaning products around the house, so I thought id give this a try. Ugh! It smells like medicine wash not to mention one use will dry you hands out so bad. Literally used it for 3 days and my hands ended up being dry and cracked even with lots of moisturizer. Not worth my money

This is my second favorite scent in this hand soap, with the fresh lemon being the first. Lasts a while, rinses fairly quickly. Scent is light and not very overpowering. Sometimes the pump hole gets clogged and I use a toothpick to clean it out.

I'm very fond of 7th generation products, both for their effectiveness and for their environmental friendliness.
