Helps electronics survive outdoor moisture
I use this to coat the circuit boards of my Eufy magnetic door sensors. So far they have been through two rains each in Northern California and they are still working. If they stop working I will report back and change the star rating. It is an acrylic type coating, sprays on clear but dries somewhat opaque.

Great for older automotive electronics
Sprayed this on the circuit board of the ECM in my Fuel Injected Bronco. Moisture is the enemy of these old boards, and in an old vehicle, moisture is everywhere. Sprayed a few layers of this on the board front and back, so now my Bronco will run through any weather.

First time using
I use to work for a DOD conctracor and we always gave our PCBs a clear coat. Some outdoor items for my carwash are not coated so just trying to get a little more life out of them.

Easy to apply
Works as advertised. A bit pricey.

Big disappointment
Very disappointing product. Instead of the “clear” thin finish as advertised and expected, this product leaves a lumpy, bubbly, almost opaque finish. Even worse, the film seems to outgas as it dries, so some bubbles burst and dry as craters or they stay suspended and dry as voids. Who knows if the dialectic properties are affected or not? And worst of all, the product is non-returnable, so $35 wasted. See attached 2 pics, before and after application.

Thin coats of ElectroniCoat look best.
Works best when you apply very thin coats and let them almost dry between next application. 5 min between each, spraying from about 10 in away. Cover all connectors and heatsinks with blue tape, otherwise you will regret it. We used this stuff in the military. Had to spray it outdoors as there is an odor.

Spray On Electronic Circuit Board Sealer/Waterproofing
I do a fair amount of DIY work and this was an item I decided would be useful to waterproof any circuit board builds I make. This has a rubber base with good dielectric (300 Volt) resistance, stays flexible and seals well. The solvent is volatile and flammable. Use on a circuit will be limited by voltage and of course it can't be applied to a powered on circuit board. I Recommend this Brodi Brand ElectroniCoat - Clear Waterproof Coating for Circuit Boards. Ideal for those times I need this type of circuit board protection. I hope you’ve found the information and my review helpful.
