Staggeringly Detailed Premium Looking/Feeling Product, Imperative For Any Skyrim Fan
After originally purchasing the Skyrim Collectors Edition on PS3 (with a similarly High Standard Faux Leather Hardback Art Book included) all those years ago and recently purchasing the Re-mastered Edition for PS4-PRO I was sucked back into the Elder Scrolls Universe and ordered all 3 Volumes of these Exceptionally High Quality Produced Hardback Tomes of Skyrim History, Lore, Stories, Characters and more. These Replica books look they could of been sent directly from Skyrim, the level of detail and the standard of quality really is that high and they greatly compliment the series, I am a fervent collector of Computer Game Art Books/Merchandise and Bethesda chose wisely as I believe Dark Horse are leading the industry when it come to producing top notch, high quality products at a more than reasonable price and I have never been anything but thrilled upon receiving and flicking through one of their products.Prominently displayed on the front cover in the centre of the book is the embossed insignia of Skyrim, framed by an embossed decorative structure. Contained within this first volume are a number of books you can find scattered throughout the province of Skyrim, including A Dance In Fire and The Wolf Queen to name but a couple. Thrilled to bits with the product and if your a fan of Skyrim or The Elder Scrolls Series these are imperative inclusions for your collection, I cant recommend highly enough.

Fantastic Quality!! A Must have for any SERIOUS fan of Skyrim
Just received these books today and I am vary impressed and pleased with them. The quality of this book (as with the other two in the series) is really first class and holding them in my hands feels good, almost comforting. The hard-backed covers are thick, well presented with the Skyrim logo embossed on the front, as is the title below that. Inside the front and back covers you'll find a map of Skyrim. The pages themselves are of high quality and thick leaving no bleeding of text through the other side of the page. The text itself is clear, sharp and easy to read. The bonus of these books is that there are many high-quality hand drawings and illustrations within on almost every page. So, what exactly does this book contain? Well, you know those books you often find in the Skyrim game? Well, this three-book series contains every single one of those books, and rather than reading them on your computer/TV screen, you can read them here. Some of you might want to only delve into these books when you find a book in the game, whilst others might want to sit down and read these books from cover to cover. Both ways have their merits. I believe that some of these books are also found in the Morrowind and Oblivion games. This volume (I) is entitled: THE HISTORIESThe other two volumes are:Volume (II): MER, MAN AND BEASTVolume (III): THE ARCANEAre you a serious fan of Skyrim? Book arrived well packaged and in good time. It's a beautiful book, a good size with beautiful illustrations from the game designers. Filled with Skyrim lore. It looks amazing on any shelf. Exceptionally high quality, a real treasure
I cannot praise the quality of these books enough. I'm a long-time Elder Scrolls fan, and this really adds to the series. They are hardback, matt-covered and of very high quality - the paper used is also of exceptional quality, with that new book smell...Contained within are a series of the books you find in the games, and not just Skyrim - a few of these books can actually be found in the Oblivion and Morrowind games. The books specifically relate to the history of Tamriel, with a focus on Skyrim.Included are some of the best collections of tomes from the game series, including A Dance In Fire and The Wolf Queen. In order to read these otherwise, you need to find a copy of each book in the series within the game (this consists of at least 7 books each) and some of them are incredibly difficult to track down, (I personally never found A Dance in Fire Volume IV), so to be able to finally read them was a joy. Some of the material in the game is stand-alone quality - they would sell in bookshops if published. The literary material of the Elder Scrolls has always been one of its lures for me.I will assume that if you are reading this review you are either a fan of the series, or looking to buy these books as a gift for someone who is.My recommendation: buy it before it goes out of production. You'll be sorry you missed it, I promise.
