One is kept at home and one is on the key ring so I always have a back up. Easy to lock and unlock.I feel that this is secure and would not be easily broke in to or cut, despite other reviews. v sturdy. easy to use. v pleased with it.

Item is substantial and is very secure for your bike. The bracket fitting for the bike frame could maybe be a bit more sturdy to cope with the constant attach/release of the cable when securing/unsecuring the bike. Overall, the lock is very strong and I would recommend it.

Only used once as a lock, worked fine but after only a few weeks and maybe half a dozen rides the bracket for holding onto the frame has broken. Fortunately I heard it fall of mud rude and was able to rescue but very poor quality

Light but strong, very well made, good lock and decent clasp, attaches securely to bike via supplied bracket, rubberised cable avoids scratching the paintwork and velcro strap keeps the cable neat when not in use.

I ordered 2 of these - for mine and my wife's bikes. They arrived promptly, but would not fit either bike.The supplied fixing bracket(s) came with only one rubber insert and with this the clamp was too big for the seat post and too small for hte downtube. Both bikes are Dawes hybrids - so nothing out of the ordinary or exotic.Also, the bike lock sits loosely in the clamp and has a tendency to wobble about, which is not great. The cable is coiled quite tightly and so is pretty bulky. Basically this lock would have to be carried in a rucksack or in panniers.The cable/lock itself looks OK, but I rather doubt that it would resist more than the casual thief.I've decided to try one of the Masterlock D style locks that has a Sold Secure Gold rating - twice the price, but probably worth it!
