It works but for titanium it will require a lot of rubbing
Installing my bathroom I made a beginners mistake of wearing a titanium watch whilst fitting the porcelain sanitary ware and managed to get a couple of dark marks on the otherwise perfectly white surface. Lots of Google searching revealed the Bath Rubber as a potential solution. And yes it works but boy did it take a lot of work and time. The faintest parts of the titanium scratches went in minutes but the darkest marks took hours and I mean over two hours. This was working in 15 minute shifts over a few days. The product says it works better with water but I can't say I noticed much difference. So the marks have now gone, and there is no sign of them at all, the surface looks like new with not even a faint mark where the scratch had been. The work required has meant that smaller marks that are not noticeable remain untreated for now. So in summary it will get titanium scratches off but with a lot of work but that is still better than replacing a whole toilet bowl so I can recommend it based on that and the fact that no other solution that worked for me. However, be aware of the work you have ahead.

use a couple of drips of water
two grey marks on my brand new porcelain bathroom basin from light metal contact. Disaster ! Scrubbed for a while with the eraser and there was an improvement, added a couple of drops of water over the scratches and scrubbed again and all the marks vanished. I'm not surprised because I have used one of these before on a butler sink that we had in our last house and they are very good. Just use a couple of drips of water and it makes the mark removal quicker.

Does the job…
This does the job in removing the titanium scratch marks off my new bathroom sink. However, I found that careful use of a cheap emery board for nails also works…

Was recommended by my plumber to get a scratch off a newly fitted sink and did the job

Waste of money - didn’t even fade the scratches on a white porcelain washbasin.
Bought this on the recommendation of the reviews and photos provided by other purchasers. Our white porcelain bathroom washbasin has a number of dark grey surface scratches on it. We’re not aware of what has caused them, but everything I have tried to remove them has failed, and this includes this product. It didn’t even lighten the scratches, let alone remove them. The Bath Rubber is not much bigger than an eraser found in a school child’s pencil case, and definitely overpriced at £9. In fact the texture of it is almost identical to the coarse end of a school eraser. Maybe if you are considering buying the product, it may be worth buying a school double ended eraser and trying the coarse end of it first, at a fraction of the cost.

Didn’t work for me unfortunately
Having read all the good reviews for this product, I was really hoping that I would at last be able to remove the fine grey ‘scratch’ marks from my ceramic hand basin which other products usually successful for other tasks had failed to do. Alas, no. I put water on the marks and rubbed and rubbed and rubbed and rubbed, probably for more than half an hour but I couldn’t even see any improvement. However, whereas some reviewers know what has caused their marks, mine are a bit of a mystery. I suspect it’s something metallic, maybe husband’s razor but he doesn’t think so, so maybe I was using the product for something inappropriate...
