Life saver for sick days – finally a thermometer that actually works! I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to share how much this Braun thermometer has made life easier for us. Taking a temperature used to be such a stressful ordeal — my little one would squirm, cry, and it would take forever to get a reading. With this thermometer, it’s quick, accurate, and way less stressful. I’ve used it under the arm and rectally, and both ways work really well. I love the simple, easy-to-read display and the fact that it doesn’t make a huge fuss — no endless beeping or complicated buttons. Cleaning it is also super easy, which is such a relief when you’re juggling sick kids and everything else. What I appreciate most is how reliable it feels. On those nights when my kid isn’t feeling well and I’m half panicked, I can actually trust the reading and know what I’m dealing with. It’s such a small thing, but it makes a huge difference in taking care of a sick child. Honestly, I don’t know how we got through our first few months without this thermometer. I bought this Braun Age Precision thermometer on 14 October 2025 especially for my kids. I’ve already used it a few times and I’ve been genuinely happy with it as compared to the previous thermometers I had. From the first time I used it, it felt thoughtfully designed as the flexible tip makes it comfortable and safe whether I use it under the arm for the kids. The temperature reading comes back fast usually within 8 seconds and seems accurate and consistent, which makes knowing whether kids are running a fever much easier. When you power it up it asks you about the age group first. The age‑adjusted colour‑coded display is a small touch but really helpful and it takes the guesswork out of “normal vs alarm” depending on whether it’s for a baby or an adult. In short, its a simple but very dependable thermometer that makes taking temperatures quick, easy and stress‑free. I am happy with this little device so far and I highly recommend it.

It is one of the best. Easy to use and take the temperature reading with accuracy. Easy to set it up before the reading and well made. Definitely worth the money. Pretty useful product.

Good thermometer, accurate and easy to use. It gives readings quickly and seems accurate compared to other thermometers I’ve used. The display is clear and easy to read, even in low light. The only small downside is that it needs to be positioned correctly to get the most consistent result, but once you get used to it, it works well. Overall, it’s a reliable product from a trusted brand and good value for the money.

I got this from my baby registry and haven’t used it for 7m,l because i haven’t had the need to. Recently my baby had flu and I had to bring this out to use, it is very easy to use and it takes accurate temperature reading. You also get to choose baby’s age range easily on the thermometer. It’s cute and very light, and baby didn’t even make a fuss when I used it on her. It’s got a nice little lid to store it properly so yeah, i highly recommend

Ich finde es Super, nach 11 Sekunden hatte ich das Ergebnis habe nochmal nachgemessen mit dem Thermometer das wir bisher genutzt haben und es war kein Unterschied. Jetzt kann unsere Maus strampeln und muss beim Fieber messen nicht ewig still halten.

Todos sabemos que Braun es un referente en termómetro. Lo primero que llama la atención de este producto es su rapidez de medición 8 segundos, aunque a mi me suele tarde un poco más, alrededor de 9-10 segundos. El diseño es muy acertado, es atractivo a la vez que ergonómico. Los puntos más importantes son: - La pantalla es LCD con retro-iluminación en diferentes colores, indicando de esta forma si hay fiebre. - Muestra la temperatura de la medición en axila, si la medición se hace en la boca o en el recto, hay que ir a unas tablas que aparecen en el manual y en donde está todo super bien explicado. - Ofrece la posibilidad de seleccionar la edad de la persona a la que se le toma la fiebre, pudiendo elegir entre 0-3 meses, 3-36 meses y +36 meses. En función del rango de edad varía el indicador de fiebre (esto también se explica muy bien en el manual). - Usa alimentación por pila, la típica CR1632, que es una batería de litio. Cambiar esta batería es sumamente fácil. - El termómetro se apaga automáticamente pasados 20 segundos después de una medición. Si no has realizado ninguna medición tarda más en apagarse. Ahora paso a explicar cual es el proceso de medición: 1. Con una pulsación corta se enciende el termómetro y se escucha un pitido corto, posteriormente se muestra la última temperatura medida durante 2 segundos aproximadamente (algo muy útil si estás pendiente de que le baje la temperatura a tu hijo y no te acuerdas exactamente de la anterior). 2. Posteriormente, van cambiando los iconos de edad y el intervalo de edad hasta que pulsas el botón Age Precision, momento en el cual se detiene quedando seleccionado el último mostrado. Hay que que seguir pulsando para elegir la edad que quieres entre los rangos que he indicado antes: Siga pulsando el botón hasta que se muestre el ajuste de edad deseado. El termómetro tiene tres ajustes de edad: 0-3 meses, 3-36 meses y +36 meses. 3. Una vez hecho este paso, podemos ver como el icono del intervalo de edad se mantiene activado permantentemente. ¡El termómetro ya está listo para empezar medir!. 4. Ahora sólo queda poner el termómetro en la zona que quedamos y la medición comenzará la medición. Si no detecta un aumento de temperatura no hace nada hasta que pasa un ratito y se apaga solo para ahorrar temperatura. 5. La medición dura 8 segundos aproximadamente, cuando termina la medición se escucha un sonido, y aquí podemos distinguir entre: un pitido más bien largo si la temperatura es normal o 10 pitidos cortitos cuando la temperatura es alta. 6. La temperatura se muestra en la pantalla cambiando esta de color según lo indicado en el manual para saber si hay fiebre o no (hay que mirar bien el manual porque en función de la edad seleccionada, se considera fiebre o no). Todo el proceso anterior parece muy largo, pero no lo es, es todo muy fácil e intuitivo. En definitiva, estoy muy contento con la compra y lo recomendaría sin lugar a dudas.
