I purchased this for my 4 year old nephew I think he likes it. He loves to build and I think it is perfect for that.

This set was a big hit for my grandsons who are 12,10, and 7. Kept them busy for two days. The parts were easy to build with connecting easily but firmly. Colorful, easy to create a variety of items of their own design. Would highly recommend.

I don't want to give 3 stars because it's really good product but it has two big downsides. If you want to build something you must buy two of these sets. If you buy one you can build only from easy build and maybe something from medium difficulty.Unfortunately you can't find this info when you buy it. Also you don't get printed book. You can only download manual from IQ site. Of course you can print it but it does'n look clear on the paper. So unless you have laptop you attached to your computer. Other than that I can it's perfect toy for kids. Easy to connect parts, disassemble and your construction not falling apart.

my oldest child is a builder and this made his Christmas. Now my three-year-old loves to deal with that these toys last a really long time.

Loved how customizable the pieces are. We built a giraffe and a helicopter. It’s been really fun and educational into how prices fit and build structures.Great storage case as well.

I’m all for spoiling my niece and nephew with gifts and toys but it has to be educational. With so many options to choose from on Amazon, I decided to go with IQ Builder because it mentioned STEM learning and looked unique and different than other sets.This toy set is sturdy and easy to pick up and build. The online ebooks gave some great ideas for my 4 year old nephew as well as my 8 year old niece. They were so engaged with building when we first received the set that they played for over two hours showing me each time they built something new. This will definitely push the kids to be creative and put their imaginations to the test.I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants something fun and educational. I will be getting two more sets as gifts for my younger cousins. Great product IQ Builder!

I picked this up because I've been looking for some educational toys for some children I've been looking after. They all enjoy building blocks and legos, but I wanted to find something a little more intuitive for them.This is an excellent little construction set that is extremely versatile and well made. Feels solid, yet the pieces separate easily when needed, and due to the vast number of ways the pieces can be connected, the possibilities are limitless of what can be built. Comes with a nice plastic case and feels really well made.This would have been a solid 4/5 stars except for one glaring mistake. A booklet is included with many different things that can be constructed with the set, animals, vehicles etc. All great except when I realized that a LOT of these designs can't be built with just one set - you'd need at least two for most of them because there aren't enough of each particular piece. It's extremely difficult to explain to a special needs child why something can't be constructed exactly as it appears on the page. They get extremely focused and almost OCD on matching the picture, so even trying something simple like substituting one short yellow piece for a blue does not go down well. It turned what was a really fun activity into a frustrating experience. Why would you include a booklet of designs that can't be achieved? Apart from that flaw, it's a great kit.
