Grammar and Punctuation Ages 7-9: Prepare for school with easy home learning (Collins Easy Learning KS2)

We've found this really useful during lockdown. It gives a clear breakdown of the different grammar elements in to good bitesize sections which are not overwhelming. Topics are explained and activities reinforce the learning. We as parents have learnt a few things - before we wouldn't have had a clue if you'd asked us what a frontal adverbial was!!!

My children have all had these types of books, through their school years. They help consolidate learning at home and do give the child some fun in the process. I sit with my children to work through a page - takes about 10 - 20 mins per double page. I do think they help and my children are not the best behaved, not the best in class etc...they are just normal kids, sometimes naughty, sometimes nice and sometimes just want to play. These books keep them engaged.

Bought to keep my 7 yr old daughter up to speed with grammar / punctuation etc during the lockdown period. It’s well presented and easy for her to work on independently. Not as many pages as I would have imagined, so we are working through it quickly. Saves me printing out endless sheets from the internet though!

Great for beginners to help understand punctuation,plurals and encouraging thinking and speaking well.

Very nice book,my daughter like it.

The instructions on how to administer the workings of the book is easy to use even if you have left the educational system 30 years ago.This has rekindled my love of school when I was in attendance.
