Angelus Acrylic Leather Paint

I have used the brand before and never had complaints. I used this one to paint a pair of light tan ankle boots (leather) which had scratches at the front and sides. I was worried I will ruin them but it was easier than expected. I did not do anything specific to prep, other than making sure the surface is reasonably clean. I used the helpful little brush attached on the lid to go around the edges in more detail and then I used a little sponge (a scourer cut into half will work fine). When I first applied the colour looked a bit brighter and uneven but the sponge spreaded it and smoothed it and the redults were good. I used less than half a bottle for the pair of shoes, and sponged dye all over them twice allowing few minutes in between. It will not repair the shoes' deep scratches obviously, but the scratches are covered well and I did the job without drama and stains. Shoes look lovely, colour is a true tan colour, which made my shoes a little bit darker, and nicer.

I think the product is good and would of worked well on my leather sofa if the colour had been right. The colour English Tan is far too dark, more like dark brown than tan. Need to buy a much lighter colour.

Although this is a small bottle, you only need a tiny bit. I used this for my tan leather boots which were scuffed. I only need the amount you would you use to paint a finger nail. Marvellous stuff

Loved the coverage. Got three coats on boots I sealed them with rustoleum spray but the paint still cracked after 2nd short wearing! If it wouldn’t crack IT WOULD BE AMAZING 🥲

I liked the ease of application and a reasonable drying time,to be absolutely perfect,it could have come with instructions on how to prepare the leather for application which turns out to be very necessary.............................

Bought this to paint my MK purse which was looking a tad sad and worn. It was originally lime green and was starting to have a grubby look. This paint practically transformed it and I’m astonished at the results. Grips the leather well, and it’s impossible to see it’s been painted. So far hasn’t chipped or cracked through use. A little also goes a long way too! I did my purse with 2 coats and I’m delighted.

This has saved my sofa. Put flea treatment on my dog somehow it got on the sofa an dissolved the leather i was gutted as only had it a few months. Put one coat of this paint on using a cotton bud, it's not perfect but you have to look closely to see it now so im happy.

Initially I thought the shine will make obvious that my shoe is painted, but that’s not the case, the paint looks nice and natural, and you can use it many times.

Although the price is high, it does the job very well. Really saved my boots.
