Absolute sellar game that's well balanced with novel and interesting mechanics.
This is a cooperative card game where you team up to defeat a Big Bad. The game comes with four Nemesis' and a number of characters you can play. You defeat the Big Bad by knocking its health down whilst fending off its attacks and minions by way of buying spells and resources.Games last around an hour-ish and the actual mechanics are relativelt straightforward. The first game is all set up for you so you have the chance to 'learn' the rules and turn order etc. What makes this game so replayable and fun is that once you've set up the main game, you never shuffle your deck. You also have the opportunity to pick what spells and resources are available to buy during the game, so it allows for an element of deck building and strategy whilst making the base game replayable. Turn order is randomised (by way of a turn order deck), and it really adds to that sense of excitement and anticipation to see if its your turn or the Nemesis. Its very quickly become a firm favourite in our house and we'll be picking up expansions for it. That said, we've already had 5 or 6 games and are in no way tired of the original content. Absolute sellar game that's well balanced (its tricky, but not fiendishly hard) with novel and interesting mechanics.

Cool game! Got it to play with my fiancee. She never played boardgames in her life but got into this with a passion. Pretty easy to learn if you are not in a hurry. Games last around 1.5-2 hours (+30 mins setup). Good clean fun and I will be looking to get the extensions later on. The only complaint is the box insert which doesnt make setting up new games too easy. Still happy I got this. 9/10

Fun and challenging co-op game
Plays about 1 hour I find. Game in English language. Challenging but with good replay value.

Best deck builder I played
Great game, one of my favourites lately. Best with two players, clever twist on a deck builder, challenging gameplay. Rules are not super tedious to read compared to some games and it ships with pre-constructed decks so you can play a tutorial with minimum setup. I highly recommend this to anyone.

Great game!
Great game. It can take a little time to get used to and may seem daunting at first, but quite simple after a couple of playthroughs.I would definitely recommend this game! It's also designed by ex starcraft 2 pro 'QXC' which I didn't realise to when I bought it!

Excellent deck builder. Worth every penny.
Fantastic game. We play as 2 or 3 player regularly, working through the levels. Adding randomisers once you’re familiar with strategies adds to the challenge. With the extensions, this game will add hours of fun. Really good to play with kids 12 and up

Challenging Co - op Deck Builder
Image someone took the best bits of Sentinels of the Multiverse, and Dominion and made a new game out of it which throws a group of disparate mages to build their magic powers and defend Gravehold (your city) from some enormous threat. Now if you work well together, focus on his henchmen and minions at the right time before turning on the big beasty then you might stand a chance to see victory on the battlefield.Every turn you have meaningful decisions to make, and if they were good, well then you might survive to tell the tale.

Wrong language, poor communication
Sadly despite the description clearly specifying English language, I received the Italian version of this game, twice now.Between each order I did reach out to try and better understand why and if they had an English version in stock, but no response despite multiple messages so this review is more towards to seller and not the product.I ordered the product elsewhere and can say it's a brilliant game worth 4-5 stars depending on how complex and challenging you like your games.
