A big strong rack
I bought this to fit on my mpv for additional carrying capacity. It is very well made and rigid when assembled. Comes with a kit to fit it on to roof bars. Overall I am pleased with it.

Good rack
Looks good on car, finish seems okay and very little wind noise. Mine is mounted towards the back of a 7 seater which may help with noise but it makes less noise than I was expecting. Easy to assemble/ fit.

Overall good, but has a few issues.
Overall, this rack is good. It's sturdy, it fits perfectly, and it seems well made. I bought the large one for my SUV, and it looks really good. I haven't actually put anything in it yet, so I can't comment on load-bearing, but I'm sure it will be fine.I recommend having a 2nd person to help you assemble it. It is a bit fiddly to put together, especially the middle section (see below) and those d*mn rubber sheaths that you have to pull over to cover the screw heads. I didn't follow the instructions of greasing the inside of the tubes, because I didn't have any. Big mistake. Get some grease before dealing with those tubes. If you have bought the large size, I definitley recommend having a helper to get it on top of the car. But I'm a female who isn't very strong, so if you're a really strong man, you can probably do it alone. But if you have a sun roof, I would get a helper, so you don't drop it and break your sun roof. Although, I suppose the rails would prevent that. I don't know. I just know from life experience that crazy things happen, and it's best to err on the side of caution.I have two complaints. First, the middle section consists of two pieces. I wasn't expecting this. When I watched the assembly instruction video on the Maxxhaul YT channel, the middle section was one piece. In the photo on the listing here, there is a rectangular solid piece in the middle of the assembled rack. I didn't realise that that is a connector for the seam of the two middle sections. I assumed it was just some sort of support piece. And the plates are strong, that's true. But the tubes in the middle section underneath that plate don't even slot together, they just sit end-to-end. Well, mine didn't even reach all the way to butt up against each other. There is a gap, which is definitely going to be a port for letting in water and leading to rust. I was VERY annoyed about this. I suggest you tape that or somehow create a seal to close that gap.Second complaint is that the rubber washers are quite flimsy. When you tighten the screws, they squish out from under the screw heads. I suggest buying better quality washers before assembling.Oh, another annoying thing is that the instructions recommend painting it with rust-resistant paint before putting it together. Really?? They couldn't even give it a good coat of paint, for this price? If I had known about the paint, grease, and washers ahead of time, I would have been prepared. But I had driven to a friend's house to help me with this thing, and I just had to go ahead and put it together because it was a window of opportunity. And it was a bit of a faff getting the rails on, assembling this, getting it lined up, tightening everything down, etc. It's doable, but it is work and takes some time. The idea of tearing it all down to seal the gap in the middle section and paint the rack fills me with dread. Especially since I don't have indoor space such as a garage, to paint it in and let it dry. I'm quite annoyed that companies don't give you the whole picture before making a purchase.I think it's overpriced, considering the issues, but, overall, this seems like a good quality item. It will be very useful for camping and road trips. And it looks good.

It’s a Beast!
Done two camping trips and a 300 mile drive up to 🏴. This thing is a beast! Also heavy as its steel. So may need an extra pair of hands attaching to your vehicle. Less bulk than a roof box, and can store it more easily. Also you and use it for more awkward shaped loads than a roof box. Keeping stored dry and protect the joints to avoid corrosion.
