The Craftsman V20 Cordless Oscillating Tool (CMCE565B) has some serious get-er-done energy. It’s got the power to chew through wood, metal, nails—basically anything that stands between you and project completion. I actually swapped out my DeWalt for this one, and yep—I’m officially a Craftsman convert. It’s easy to use, feels great in the hand, and the quick blade changes are so fast it almost feels like cheating. The variable speed control is super handy for fine-tuning your cuts, and the built-in LED light is bright enough to make you feel like you’re doing precision work… even if you’re just hacking out old grout. Yes, it’s a little on the heavy side, but that’s the price of power. Think of it as a gym workout and DIY project in one. Pros: Power & Speed: Cuts through everything but your excuses. Works well for what little I've used it. But seems to be a running theme that their cordless tools are a little bigger than what the corded tools are. Which really don't make a lot of sense to me I would think it would be the other way around. It did come with a small attachment to drop the blade, without the attachment The cutting is level with the handle or the battery, but you can use the little attachment that actually lowers the blade a little bit to keep the handle off of the floor, or possibly scratching the rest of the work surface. For the price I just hope it lasts as long as my old Stanley Max drill that's pushing 16 years old, and still works. That can use Black & Decker or aftermarket for B&D battery with very minor adjustments to the battery that becomes pretty obvious when you try to insert the battery into it just look at the batteries and you can see the difference. Just a little snip and you're good to go.

Great saw so far. Finally wore out my other craftsman oscillating saw, which lasted about 10 years.

Much nicer than the corded version from Chicago Electric I was using before.

Love using it in those small, hard-to-get-to spots, such as cutting the tabs on CNC carvings

Outil puissant et bien équilibré. La manette de changement de lame est facile à utiliser. Beaucoup moins cher que chez Rona au moment où je l'ai acheté.

Box received quickly but open (unsealed) at the post office.. nothing missing mind you I have similar corded tools (115vac) but this one with a 5 amp battery purchased separately should be great with freedoom to move around. will update my review comments asap after a few trial runs 4 stars in the meantime
