Flimsy but does the job
Only had it for a day or two but it seems to be working. It is smaller than advertised and does feel quite delicate so you have to take care when removing. It didn't work at first but then I tried again after a few minutes and it has worked since (not sure what happened there) but overall it does the job if you're delicate.

Chipset doesn’t support USB3.0 like advertised, all 4 ports are USB2.0

Connection is not stable for wired devices
Bought this for my work laptop which only came with one USB port. Initially only used this extension port with a mouse and dongle, and was working fine. But few months later I connected the keyboard and it kept disconnecting if you just moved the keyboard or the mouse a little. By 6 months, this extension port had to be kept at an odd angle for it to stay connected.In hindsight, this type of extensions aren't very good as they are prone to bending while travelling and slight movement can disconnect it. Have now ordered another cable USB extension port.

Light and flimsy
It is very light/flimsy, so when something is plugged in it pulls away from the laptop and is easy to accidentally pull out. Wouldn't recommend.

The odd unsafe removal notification, a bit worrying
Adds extra USB C ports, looks neat too but the usafe removal notifications make me think I shoul try a different product, good idea though, may send back and get a different product.
