Having suffered from Periodontal Disease for about a year and a half ( disease has been eliminated now ) I came across this little product . After having the disease eliminated by my dentist it was decided that my teeth should be kept as clean as possible . Now we all know that in our mouths there are hard to reach places with a conventional electric/manual toothbrush . Periogen is the answer to the unreachable places . The powder is mixed with warm water and you swish it around in your mouth then spit it out . Its a brilliant product that leaves your mouth feeling clean and refreshed .

It looks like there is a lot of humidity in my bathroom because now my Periogen is a nice stone. At least the first days was working like a charm.

Fantastic!! I have been using it together with coconut oil pullings, and Corsodyl whitening toothpaste. And of course an electric toothbrush, which is much gentler on the gums and enamel. It has been a process, but my gums are looking healthy and stopped receding. Tartar softened, so after a while it is very easy to remove. And the stains on my teeth could continue to fade. I have used it continually for six months, but after six weeks I was seeing very noticeable results. If you can be systematic in using it, this product is definetly a winner.

So far, so good, it is a powder that I use once or twice a day in the water flossing tool I bought together with it. I put three stars as I have no clue if it works or not, I did see a very negative review by someone who tried it and said it didn't work, and some positive reviews, saying that it does work.I noticed that the negative reviewer didn't get any upbeat votes from anyone, well if it doesn't work for me I'll say it and you can all vote away, too.I actually bought TWO of them and cheap it isn't so it better work in dissolving tartar as it pledges it does.I'll be back to edit this when I go through the two containers.

Good effect when I brush teeth with also when rise mounth. In three months cleaned 95% of tartar. Gums look better. Worked well for me.

Sadly this stuff doesn't actually remove any tartar at all as far as I can tell. Used the entire bottle and it may well help prevent new tartar build up since it contains the same chemical they use in tartar-control toothpaste, but it doesn't remove existing tartar. Other than the dentist's pick the only thing I've found that does remove tartar is that tooth-whitening gel you get for use in rubber trays. I've noticed tartar coming away and spitting it out after that, so maybe chemical removal is possible - this product however isn't successful.
