This is amazing
as you would expect from kilner this is well made,this comes with a plastic tap which I changed straight away cos it's rubbish, for the stainless steel version and it Doesn't leak and has very good flow providing you open the lid while using.I would recommend this with the stainless steel tap as soon as you can.The tap was easy to fit and the glass jar looks great especially when full of 8 Liters of Pimms.

Good product
Brilliant but unfortunately the handle snapped after 2 weeks. It has been used everyday though so overall happy with it.

To be very careful when washing this item
This jar is fantastic and holds so much water I use it for cooking and love itIt’s sturdy but has cracked on me twice I was very disappointed as they are not cheap

Look for an alternative, this isn't robust for heavy use. Planned to use it for kombucha brewing.
Arrived with a crack in the glass around the cheap plastic tap. Secondary to this, was uneven on level surfaces and rocked quite badly.

Great drinks dispenser
This is a great drinks dispenser, I recommend the kilner drinks dispenser holder too which makes this look even nicer on your counter. The only annoying thing is that you have to unclip the lid to be able to pour drinks as otherwise there is some kind of vacuum and nothing comes out of the tap.. but it's a small detail.

Very good Quality
Very impressed with this. Much better quality than I thought. It’s really solid and sturdy. At the same time it it glass so I imagine with the right force it would break.As it’s heavy, it is a pain to clean and empty out the last bit but I bought mainly for the material and the quality of it so that was always inevitable.Overall, I’m happy with this purchase.

keeps leaking
Nice sized bottle but keeps leaking at the tap. If I try to fasten, it will just create a crack eventually due to the pressure against the glass.

Lesson learnt!
I haven’t tried the kilner jar yet but it looks their usual great quality. I just wanted to say that the seller has obviously learned their lesson after numerous reviews from people whose jar arrived smashed. Mine was really well packed in yards of bubble wrap and it arrived early, so top marks for that.Update: no leaks from the tap, so far, so very happy with it.
