Timberwolf Leather Dog Lead

Great little lead. I originally went to a pet store who wanted £29 for a tiny lead similar to this. Needless to say I declined & purchased this instead for less than £10. Seems to be holding up well & great quality for the price.

Excellent quality, good value for money

I have to keep a loose trailing lead on my dog, for reasons I won't go into. The various types I have tried haven't been suitable. The problem is, chains and fabric types can catch her claws and cause damage. I imagined that leather leads like this would be uncomfortable for me to hold and for her to lie on, but this is super and not uncomfortable at all.. She hasn't tried to chew it and I am really pleased with it. It is solid and strong but not heavy, has a good strong metal (brass ?) clip and is a really smart lead and great value for the money, which I wasn't really expecting. Another great product by Arcol.

This has been a good purchase but I am a little concerned with it's strength. We have a 6 Stone 10 month Dogue de Bordeaux who is generally good on the lead until not. Then I can feel a little stretch in the leather and worry it might break. This is a good lead although we might be closing in on it's limits. Anything up to medium feels like it would be fine anything bigger needs to be under good heel control and only occasional strain.

*****3rd UPDATE**** Ancol got in touch to offer goodwill gift instead of replacement. Good customer service, shame about the lead, it need a rivet, not just stitching****2nd UPDATE****Replacement lead only lasted 2 months, don't want another, not safe!! *UPDATE* Supplier dealt with my complaint quickly and efficiently, new lead on the way. Fingers crossed it lasts a bit longer! My last leather dog lead lasted 15 years, so wanted to replace with another similar one. This one was only stitched, no rivets at the handle end or the clip end and it seemed to stretch after a few rainy dog walks. Yesterday, whilst on a walk, the stitching on the handle snapped, so only lasted 5 months. I've contacted the supplier, so hopefully a replacement or refund will be issued.

This is a beautiful, quality leather lead. It has a nice strong clip to attach it to the collar. It's soft in my hand when walking my puppy and it will last her into addulthood. I bought the matching collar. Brilliant product, it's well made and I would recommend it to anyone. Love it.

Lo compre pensado que sería de cuero y cuando llego y lo comparé con el collar de la misma marca y mismo color no tenía nada que ver. Es una correa de un material q imita al cuero. Yo me la he quedado porque tengo el collar a conjunto pero creo que si se compra como cuero debería ser de ese materia

Already broken -bad quality

My lab chewed through it in 2 mins flat. No value for money. He isn't aggressive chewer but I guess he liked the leather. Anyways lookwise this is great but don't know how sturdy it would be to hold back ur pooch while walking him/her
