For me they work.
For me they work. I`ve always struggled with lactic acid build up when exercising & for me these do help enourmously. I find that I don`t need to take them as often as Xendurance suggests but it depends on what I am doing. Should I be on a cycling holiday then yes they`ll get used morning & evening as suggested but outside of that, like for example at the moment, when I`m exercising less I`m not using them. At £47 they are super expensive but used sparingly then they can last a long time. I even find taking 3 tabs on the morning of an exercise sufficient. Bicarb of soda is a much cheaper alternative but difficult to ingest & makes me belch for Britain

The hype is well founded
Came across this product as I am a fan of Josh Bridges who is one of there sponsored athletes and uses/ recommends it. Did a fair bit of research online about it myself via reviews and YouTube, so thought on the lead up to my first half marathon I'd give it ago. Very impressed with the product and its effect on my overall performance. I've managed to knock 3 minutes of my 10k time over two races; and feel comfortable throughout. I would definitely recommend and will be buying again.

It hasn’t worked for me
I’ve read so many positive reviews about the impact of this product that I thought i would give it a try. I’m an endurance runner and train 60-70 miles per week - this includes 2 sessions and 4 recovery runs. I regularly feel the effect of lactate in the sessions and the following day. I’ve used the product for nearly 2 months now - taking 3 tablets twice a day as instructed. Avoiding to take them with anything acidic like coffee. Sadly - and I really am sad to feed this back and really wanted them to work - they have had no impact on me. Either in the hard training sessions or the marathon I just ran. The effect of lactic was exactly how it always is.

They smell horrific
I’ve been taking them a couple weeks now so possibly not long enough to notice a difference. I would like to add a warning that they smell and if you’re unlucky enough to have one touch your tongue, taste horrific. Like reallly bad. It’s made worse that the outside is a matt texture so it can easily get stuck on the tongue.

Great to see Xendurance on Amazon
Great to see Xendurance on Amazon, I've been using Xendurance products for a while and I'm in the habit of running out! Not as likely now. I first heard of Xendurance through the triathlon community a number of years ago now. I use it most of the year and take a break in the off season, for me its all about getting rid of the DOMS. I'm not sure if it helps on race day but it helps keep training consistent, long runs don't take days to recover from and hard intervals on the turbo no longer take their toll. Sure there's still aches and pains but no walking down stairs backwards or rolling out of bed first thing. I recently did a run challenge in February running an extra mile each day. It was only in the last few days where I was running 25+ miles per day did I get any muscle soreness and if anything it was fatigue that was getting to me. Unfortunately Xendurance doesn't stop you getting tired but it does help you going day after day.

They do actually work
So I started this very dubious about something that claims to take away DOMS when training hard. I was even more dubious when people started talking about them giving them an extra edge in competition. Happy to say that I’ve been proven wrong here. My energy levels have definitely gone up. DOMS pretty much non existent and the way I’m able to push on the bike has gone up ten fold. Now you found claim that is is placebo or in my head but I’ve taken them for a month, seen gains….moved away from them for a couple or months and I’ve really noticed that I haven’t got that edge anymore. Who would have thought that 3 small and easy to swallow tables 2x a day would make all that difference. It’s a quality product that I will maintain in my training going forwards. And a small price to pay for the benefits. Give them a go 💪🏼
